I've had about 4 stick bags since the beginning of my percussion journey in high school - two small 'fold' type bags, one large 'fold' bag and finally this one! Humes & Berg have hit it on the head with a freestanding mallet bag that's versatile, convenient and very affordable at just $49.95 (~$64 AUD) a pop.

I've just started watching your vids today, I'm already impressed. They're not super long, like most reviews, but they're interesting and straight to the point, no bullcrap ten minute filler for your ad revenue. The editing isn't over done, and the jokes aren't that annoying, but then again, you have to do what you can if you want marimba one to get you a line of mallets. You don't cut out all your mistakes in mallet reviews, and that makes your videos more realistic, and easy to relate to, since we all mess up. Every other youtuber just re shoots till its flawless, and in turn, inhuman. You should have more subscribers, I'm surprised you don't. Ron really needs to get you an Adam Tan mallet line.

Ethan my man! You are far too kind - I'm glad you enjoy the videos and I hope they continue to be down to earth and interesting for you :) I'd be very honoured to get an Adam Tan mallet line but it probably won't happen for at least another 50 years hahaha. Thank you for watching!

I got this stick bag for Christmas this year ( 2019 ) and I love it so much. Thank you Adam for introducing me to this bag. I love your videos so much and will continue to watch you. Keep up the good work.

Haha well it is a $50 USD bag... www.steveweissmusic.com/product/humes-berg-grip-bag-mallet-bag/drum-stick-mallet-bag and since my audience is predominantly from the US I thought that was more applicable :) And I overexaggerated the exchange rate at the time, it's only about $70 AUD!

Adam Tan I'm definitely looking into getting one of these now! Great review by the way! You should do a video on the Liberty Tour Caddy mallet bag, I'd love to see that.

That's a phenomenal bag. Our marching band just acquired a few of them, and we only use one for all of our mallets and sticks. They're ridiculously spacious and durable. Get that stick bag. Do it.

I ordered this bag last winter and it’s worked really well for me. It arrived a little more like an oval for me tho bc I ordered it online, but it still works great and is my go to for pit orchestra season! During the summer I tend to use a folding one because I use less mallets during the summer (only on vibraphone and drum set gigs), but this works great in my pit orchestra setup because I can switch my sticks very fast and do not have to worry about the clicking noise of the mallets being picked up by mics.

I got my Galaxy Grip a couple of months ago, and I absolutely adore it. It’s basically the only mallet bag I use consistently (except for the one I’m using for my High School’s MalletStation), and I can’t recommend it enough.

Hey Adam! I just discovered your channel about 2 months ago, and I just started mallet percussion this year. I play bassoon and needed to learn mallet percussion to get a keyboard spot for marching band. I worked hard before and after school and I ended up getting a vibe spot!! Anyways I fell in love with it and I was wondering if you have any tips for a 'newbie!' Btw I love your vids SOOO much, they're so high quality!!! Thanks!

Unsure what you mean about the heads touching. When you opened the bag they appeared to be touching. I'm currently using the Vic firth concert bag, though I may consider buying this on portability ease of access alone. Very informative

Hey Adam! I also have the Galaxy Grip Bag, and it's been great. I recently got the Majestic Pro Roll Up Mallet Bag from Steve Weiss, just when I need to bring everything to a rehearsal for options, and it holds tons of stuff! Incredible amount of storage and padding.

Your videos are so well shot and set-up, I figured you must be a lot more popular of a KZbinr than you are. I think/hope you'll go far, and I'm giving you +1 sub to help along the way. I'm about to go to university and I need a pair of marimba mallets (though I'll also have to pick up this stick bag :p), do you have any recommendations (or reviews on your channel) of some budget mallets:

D Kerr Thank you so much for the kind words, I appreciate it 😀 Van Sice is still my go to pick for general mallets on the cheap side, you could get about three pairs for that price and there is a review of it on my channel 😄
