thanks a lot for sharing this!! i was question myself how you could store your equipment on the motorhome and the double floor is the secret! i have a motor home also, but i don't have double floor! this makes a huge difference!! I have a "garage" like your motorhome, but only have 2.20x1.50 availabe, i need to put bars on the roof or maybe buy a trailer, otherwise i can't take my gear with me and my familly. one more time, thanks a lot!!

I’ve been put off motor homes because of the board/sail storage issue - this fantastic to know it can be done - thanks so much for sharing. Presumably there must be other motor homes using this raised floor concept?

I did a lot of research and if you only have a normal eu driver’s license euro Mobil is the way to go

Thank you for the video! One question: how much fuel does this consume per 100km when going on windsurf trips and what fuel does it use?
@surferkaspert4679 Жыл бұрын
Around 11l/100km, depends a lot on the wind direction. The fuel is diesel

Hi, thanks for sharing. This camper type could definitely be the one for me. I’m confident that my freeride board (240 x 80) will fit in the garage. Do you think me freerace board (272 x 77) fits as well? Kind regards, Marc

Not sure definitely not from side to side. But maybe in the length direction in the double floor

@@surferkaspert4679 Hi, do you know what the width (breite) is between 2 support poles in the basement storage compartment? The widest slot seems to be between 60 and 80 cm. I did not want to bother you again with my questions and I have therefore been searching everywhere but could unfortunately not find the answer. I hope you can and perhaps be willing to provide exact measurements between the support poles. Thanks and kind regards. I subscribed to your channel. I enjoy your videos. Marc

Hi, what is the width of your camper? How long is your longest board in the garage? How long is the double floor? Long enough for 490 or 520 mast? I have the same problem like you, i don't want to climb the roof. And to bring equipment up and down, you need a second person. But with a normal camper it is not possible to have bigger equipment inside the garage. The only camper i know is from Marc Pare, build by Julia Camper (Spain). You can find a vid at windsurfing.tv But i don't know the price and i fear, i don't want to pay the price. 😢

When I was on Patrik the boards were 235 and fitted, the AV boards are 229 and 228, the width on the inside is about 217cm outside is 230cm. There is a slot in the middle of the double floor about 10cm wide that runs the whole length of camper part. So 520 masts are no problem and a 9,2 slalom sail also fits. I have seen the vid of Marcs van. But the living area is just too small, when you have to bring kids and a girlfriend.

Very nice. What's the longest windsurf trip you've ever done in the camper?

Only have done northern Germany and the whole of Denmark. Norway was planned for last summer, but then came the virus. Maybe next year. But in the summer I live in it for two weeks, no problem.
