I never knew Leviosa could destroy the orb. It's easy to avoid if you roll behind him. That's what I did on Hard difficulty.

It CAN be done with limited spells. After a night's sleep and 8 hours of work, I came home and defeated the Protectors and the Boss on the first try using Levioso, Confringo, Incendio, Expelliarmus and Accio, plus the Ancient Magic with a 75 Defense and a 69 Offense. With that trial done, I got back to learning, but I found it tough to get Glacius because I have trouble flying. I'm using a PC, but the trouble lies in not the PC itself, but how I have my controls set up. I race, so I have a steering wheel on a stand in front of my triple monitors. My keyboard is on the right side of my desk in front of the right monitor while the mouse is on the left of the keyboard, and I'm right handed, so in order to use the mouse I have to cross over my left wrist to use the mouse. The controls for flying are the space bar (go up), CTRL (go down), Shift (fast flying) and W (go forward) PLUS the mouse is the direction. It was painfully slow going popping the balloons but after about an hour I had finished it. I may have to use my controller for any other flying I do.

the boss and the minions beforehand are easy as pie, it's just those orbs he throws i couldn't figure out

This boss fight is cool but a joke compared to the later on bossfight of Rookwood and his wizards. It took me like 2hour and a half in hard difficulty and almost made me threw the controller again and play it with keyboard and mouse like i did in fallen order. You really need many wiggenweld potion as possible cause i couldn't brew more so i had to do it with 2 potion :/

@@oxfordking I'm convinced that I should abandon Rackham's Trials for now. I'm missing a lot of spells that could help a ton against the Guardians like Glacias and Diffindo. I'm following the storyline too closely and not doing enough to equip myself better.
