On the Barclays website they have mentioned regarding cashback from retailers but they have not mentioned which retailers are participating in the cashback scheme. Hi Rohit, Barclays account will take 1 month to 1.5 months to open right now. You can try opening in Halifax, hsbc, Natwest current accounts through online. This may be easier than Barclays. There are around 100 retailers with whom u can avail cash back Adidas, Nike, Clark’s, ray ban, apple, Microsoft, domino’s, etc

Mostly universities are planning to split classes to reduce online classes. Like have less number of people in one session and do 2 session for each module. But the city is normal. Social life’s are getting back on feet. Still some lockdowns are implemented in some places due to hike in cases but it’s only for 2 weeks not more than that.

all student account that you mentioned are not for new students. These account only those student can open who are atleast stayed in uk for 3 years. I am chasing to open a account and visit almost all bank. Still not succeed :(

Halifax and tsb student account is for 3 yrs students. You can open Halifax current account using online and then visit the bank with the received email. For Barclays u have to apply online for the student additions account and they will contact you through email. Santander also allows to open their student account online. People have opened accounts now in these banks. Monzo and starling bank accounts have been opened by others too
