Samsung should continue to provide S Pen for A series tablet just like they did with Tab 8.0 (2019) with S Pen. It feels much better to write and to draw with the S Pen.

I've read somewhere that the reason the S-pen doesn't react to the A tablet series is because for the S-Pen to be able react to the tablet at all, the screen itself should be made for the pen. And the A series likely only has a regular screen not built for the S-pen to interact with :(

@@Floofypan Not the screen itself, they have another layer BEHIND the screen for pen input detection. It's a wacom tech similar to the ones used on drawing tablets. The nice thing about it is that you don't have to recharge the pen.

​@shawn10001 just watch a Brad Colbo video. He has the best information on all tablets. I just watch other videos to diversify my viewing, but 9.5 out of 10 his videos are the end all be all. This is just me getting a second opinion because I like watching tech videos. Edit: most importantly, all his tech reviews come from the view of a fellow artist who is actively using these products for work besides just reviewing the next new thing. He often recommends tech that isn't the one that just came our because he knows that you don't need what's new you need what works well for the price your paying and if the latest thing didn't completely justify itself he's gonna recommend you stay with what you got for a couple years and only get the latest greatest if it's up to stanfldard and it's a first time buy. But if you don't have the cash for it, he'll tell you some budget friendly options that are just as great.

Thank you so much for sharing your valuable experience. It literally Helped a lot in making decision on not buying tab A7 for making notes and other writing tasks . Your video means a lot. Tablets that doesn't come with stylus aren't good in writing with some external stylus pens. So if you are specifically buying tablet for writing tasks than you must buy tablets that support stylus by default. Thanks once again.

Thank goodness that mine came for free since I'm a student, but yeah, I've just got that sad revelation that this tablet just isn't for me. :,,,) I had wanted a tablet that can write with a pen, and the *most important* thing that I never knew until now was that _palm rejection_ is very important to me as well. To not have that is very uncomfortable in my writing experience.

Yeah for me it’s ok if you use it to navigate the tab, but tbh I don’t use it as much. The white stylus is my go to, plus the nib is replaceable - you can find it for cheap

The last stylus pen with the power button is the one I have in red, and for me it works real well (Tab A7). Try fully charging it and if the problem persists it honestly depends on which seller you buy it from Also guys it doesn't work well on older devices, works well with devices from 2020+

@@thejvren Yeah it didn't work really well on my old Tab A from 2015 until I got this new tablet, I forgot to say that the pen doesn't work well with older devices and your 8.0 is one of em I'd suggest to retry it with a newer device I think it'll work well

@@gabrielgranados2428 it doesn't have palm rejection as you'd need actual technology for that. And it's pretty good depending on its battery level too, so if you notice that it's a little off, you can best recharge it a little more. And again, it depends on how new your device is for most of the functionality and the seller as well since everyone makes knockoffs!

@@studyinghard9808 I got the white one with the clear plastic disk at the tip. But that's best if you got a steady hand; I use it more for coloring in art. While for line drawing I use a rubber tip stylus for controlled lines, since I have shaky hands sometimes. I got them on amazon by searching "capacitive stylus"

So far I have tested 2 styluses on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite T225 and on the Samsung Galaxy Trend mobile. These were Tech-Protect Magnet Stylus Pen and Joyroom JR-K12. Both lost the signal to the same extent. You can't even write on the keyboard with these styluses, because sometimes the buttons next to it are activated.

samsung tab without s pen type will not be compatible with s pens bc it doesn't have s pen feature built in, so be careful and check your samsung tab type if you guys want to invest for one or get the universal one if yours is not compatible

Thank you for unboxing and showing alternative stylus pens that work with spen incompatible devices. To be honest, I am not too much of a fan of capacitative disc pens. I mean how can you write with this thing, its tip is so flat, it would be much better for highlighting and underlining text. For writing ✍/ drawing a stylus pen with pointed tip would be much better and comfortable

I just found today that a drawing tablet called the XP Pen Deco mini 7W actually works on a Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) (and by works, I mean the cursor actually appears on screen.) As long as you have an OTG cable and at least plugged in a USB mouse before, the cursor for this drawing tablet, as well as any other should appear on screen.

Yup! And I recommend getting the capacitive stylus over the active stylus! It should work on most android devices, I just tried to sign an online document on my work laptop and it works!

Sorry for asking but I need to turn on the finger drawing in samsung notes first for the stylus to work. (i use the white one in the video) with s pen you can just write like you usually do on paper but with stylus my hand need to have a distance with the screen. Hi! If you’re using the same device, unfortunately there’s no palm rejection for this. I did a similar video on note taking with this device, do have a look. I do know the Samsung Notes in the devices with s pen (s6 lite etc) have a function that enables you to rest your palms on the screen. Not for the Samsung Tab A tho. Also the Samsung notes in this tab is limited in functions.

Nope! I tried with both Samsung notes and metamoji lite, the palm rejection function is not there and both apps are limited in certain function compared to the tablets with S pen. I did a video on note taking on the tab A you can check it out!

The Active Stylus Pen depends on the Specs of the Device that you are using.. I've tested it on my OLD Tablet and the Strokes are keep on Breaking and most of the time It doesn't even work. but when I started to use it on my INFINIX NOTE 4, I don't have any Issues like what I have seen on my Old Tablet.

Hi! I think palm rejection depends on the device/software, not the pens. This tab doesnt really support note taking unfortunately.

Unfortunately no, but there is gloves that cover the part of your palm that touches the screen. It works just like palm rejection.
