Gerald, I am so proud of you 🌝🌈💜. I miss Subic Bay where my American father was stationed at Naval Air Station (NAS), Cubi Point. He was in the USA Navy. They lived in Olongapo City while I lived in Sta Mesa, Manila with my Great Lola and great aunt. In fact my younger sister was born in Subic Bay.. Then the family went to NAS Sangley Point. My other younger sister was born in Sangley Point. I don’t have a home to go back home when I visit Philippines. As a Balikbayan, I would rent a condo in Makati whenever we decide to visit. I envy you because I always wanted to buy a property in Manila but the cost in the Philippines seem to be higher. In fact I lost a reservation fee of $hundreds of dollars when I thought I was going to buy the condo in Quezon City, closer to ABS-CBN. The processing was more complicated than here in the States. Sana I get to meet you in person kasi we have one background. I am retired (retiree), as a US Federal civil service employee at the US Navy Base in California. You must be making good money as an actor, and other source of incomes to be able to buy that kind of property and build something out of it. You have beautiful home in Q.C. You are blessed. Very good investment Gerald, I know Philippines will one day overpass Thailand, with 20 million tourists every corner of the Philippines will benefit. Kailangan lang talaga airports. Sana mag-put-up and gobyerno ng airport for every province of the Philippines kasi ayaw ng American, European tourist na mag-spend ng 5 to 12 hours na magdrive or mag-bus because most of them have only a week or two weeks allowed vacation from work. Isa pa they get easily bored. Kaya they wanna see as much as they can because it will take years for them to ever come back kaya sana yan ang itrabaho ng Department of tourism.
