Druids are so dead, they nerfed them into the ground. I’ve never seen such a drastic change to anything in Clash of Clans in my life except maybe when they made hogs defense targeting. Healers now heal the same as Druids and Druids are more expensive and last for 25 seconds only, there is no point to using them

I replaced the 8 druids with 5 healers - 4 balloons (to tank traps for healers) - 1+ extra SWitch And it’s even better than the old druid version

Once we had to max the gauntlet and rage vile, then nerfed once it was in good level. Now tried to get the spiky ball and earthquake boots to a good level along with the fire ball for super witch attack, now by the time we got there nerf to druids this is going in circles and becoming more pay (to get ores or gems to max equipments) to win than before. If equipments plays a crucial role in todays game and getting stuck without an option to get stary or enough glowy ores other than to buy them. Then what is free to play?? If this is not pay to win then what is ?

So what you are trying to say is, you paid to get max equipments, but then they nerfed them so you are mad the game is not pay to win? You paid but you have no advantage so you're not happy?? Because the more balance the game is, the less pay to win it is. Also leveling up commun equiment to 15 et epic to 21 is more than enough and can easely be done f2p (except if like me you missed 6 months of th16 lol).

I would much rather make them transform a lot faster and everything else to stay the same than this… they could’ve made them transform after 10 or 15 seconds and not change anything else, they still will be half as efficient but u need to put them when u feel in danger than just sprinkling them 2 at a time non stop…

@micker9830 In my opinion, they likely expected the druids to work well with hero dives. Smash attacks werent the original goal of the unit, so it was scaled for a different style. The reason their healing is being almost cut in half is because the rage aura made them stronger than intended, so theyre nerfing them to scale better with the rage aura. This is my take on what happened, not confirmed, but it would explain why the nerfs are so harsh

They nerf the crap out of the root rider strategy. I get most of my clan to switch to super witches, they get all excited to use them in cwl. We wake up find out after we spent all this money to use this strategy that there going to nerf the most important troop in this strategy. Way to lower everyone's moral before cwl. I spend a bunch of money on this game and I'm about to be done. So sick of them nerffing everything once everyone switches to this.

Do you understand that the fact that you and your clan completely started using swithces is a big part of the reason why druids were nerfed? Just try some other attacks that require a little bit more skill that they will not be nerfed, cause the reason that an attack have to succed is by showing off some skill, instead of simply using the most brainless broken army of the moment that will be nerfed anytime 100%.

@matteopodda3242 interesting perspective. However, when my clan switched to this, it wasn't used by everyone. So yes, my clan switching isn't contributing to the Nerf. Perhaps every coc creator pushing this strategy on their videos is the cause for mass adoption. Certain strategies require certain equipment to be upgraded. So telling players just pick up a different one after they just spent money and practice to just adopt a new strategy isn't always a viable option. This how players up and quit.

I don't know why people are upset about this. This was coming a mile away, the game's completely broken since TH16 with roots. They should have done this 2 months ago. People can still use their equipments, even if it's nerfed, or now have more in their arsenal. The super witch druid army you basically can't miss. And just switch to healers ? The game isn't meant for you to get 100% hit rate.
