Hello from Atlantic Beach. Thanks for the instructional. I have a double drop rig board I built 2 years ago, and it works well but yours is more compact, and it has dropper length options, so I am gonna give it try. Thank you again!

Perfect instructions took all of 30 minutes to make once I found tools in hubbys’s shed! For novice folks like me I put tape on drill bit so I knew when I was at 1/2 inch. So excited my beads and pill floats will be in a few days!! Thanks

I made a bastardized version roughly inspired by this. 2 clips, 3 short dowels and a tall screw for spools (some of mine have an I.D. of under 1/2"). Only 3 dowels as I just picked a single size; up until now, they were pretty random and usually shorter than intended. Now *much* quicker and more consistent. Thanks!

Chip, I've seen these boards demonstrated at surf seminars in the past but this is the first time with measurements. I had a math teacher maybe 60 years ago say, "if you can put numbers on it you don't understand it". It shows that you are a teacher at heart. Thanks.

Great video. Very in detail. I am about to order the drill tool that you use to put the float and linecthrough and your spike likecweights as well. Thank you for showing me how to do this. I will try to make it. How do I make the drop loop smaller I don't like the access of line? I would like no more than 2.5 inches on each drop loop. Any suggestions.
