Blitz low tier was a paradise, scaling consumable prices meant you could run the most expensive consumables like chocolate and still make good profit without a premium account. Not much reason to go past tier 5 unless you wanted to play a specific high tier tank.

Will, the daily VODs are a treat thank you. The TS-5 was the first tank I committed to securing with dedicated play time plus chanting "Never Quit" helped. At your suggestion I carry two repair kits and I hesitate to use the second one until my advisory telegraphs his next move and I deliver a powerful surprise. Tbh ISU-152 is probably one of the worst tier 8 TD in the game, whats the point of having 750 alpha if you can't hit anybody, I 2 marked the tank in 85 games and at least 10 of those I hit one shot cause thats all RNG allowed me to hit, not to mention disgusting 600 damage rolls, perfect shots hitting only tracks and piss poor armor. Obj 704 on the other hand is a treat, ISU-152 got hit hard by the gun nerf its worthless imo, aced and 2 marked it accidentally when grinding the 704 but I would not recommend that line to anyone.

You can have great games in any tanks thats not saying much, thing is there is nothing an ISU does that an Su-130PM or a Rhm doesn't do better, literally the only thing you have is 750 alpha and nothing else is notable, with a gun made for CQC, no armor and poor flexibilty you are seriously crippled and makes it extremely situational. All I can say is enjoy the tank while RNG favors you, once it's gone then the stress begins.

Having played the T28 and the TS5, i slightly preferred the T28. The TS5's lower plate sits too high and everyone knows to shoot that. They are more or less the same tank though

@@grubbie8614 The thing with shooting a T32 in the turret is that 300 pen instead of 248 isn't helping much. The chance of penning the hatch go up but usually the you still roll to overmatch the top plate that is showing and that shouldn'T have more than 140mm of effective armor.. Idk... i might fling some AP rounds at the T32 from that pos as i can hide both the LP and my commanders hatch, especially if i myself want to block some dmg for a mission, .. but that was a real waste of ammo.

@@grubbie8614 no, aim is so ez, they are shooting with gold, cause the rng is horrible.. for example: the biggest gold spam is in t10, but why? Because almost every tank has as high pen as they can pen the other t10 tanks if they get positive rng.. but if they get 0 or minus they will bounce.. let's see an easy example: IS-7, 250 mm AP, and 303mm APCR.. that 250 mm AP is not even enough on tanks like type5, e3, 279, but even if you would get like -5% rng you would bounce from most of the t10 tanks (and a tons of t9 too, wich is shame).. so ofc you will use gold to get the highest chances to pen smt.. in this game you can't let your opponent have hp advantage cause if you let him you will lose

The TS-5 became my goto for grinding credits. I picked it up at 90% off just for the crew and it spent at least 4 months in the garage just sitting there because normally I hate turret less tds. The gun is just devastating to anyone that wanders in front of it. I have the skorpion G as well but I don't have the patience to bush wank. I think most people are ok with it because it has a pretty easy to hit weak spot on top and in the lower plate. It is also turret-less and slow so mediums can deal with it. I have never had any problem dealing with TS-5's when I face them. The selling point for me is, it works without food and without spamming to much premium. It is to taste however, not everyone is going to enjoy these tanks.

@Christian Kroemer Exactly. Most popular will end up gutting the win rate of any tank. In a 1 v 1 battle (in the hands of a competent player) the Skorp will eat the TS-5's lunch. It can dictate the terms of the fight since it is twice as fast and because the TS-5 has no turret once the Skorp gets behind the battle is over. Statistics are helpful, but IMHO don't tell the whole story.

I love both the baby turtle and the ts-5. the ts-5 is the favorite as it's armor is good, and it has a low profile with above avg aim, reload and accuracy. I've also played it 243 times and have a 51% wn8r in it. I had a game battling a Maus and Batchat (t10) which I killed the Maus and got flanked by Bat but was it satisfying.

I wish I had the ts-5 but I bought the turtle and is easily the best tank I perform in. 65% win rate so far for 50 games and do very well. I get up close and personal hide the lower plate and use my dpm to carry games! :)

The Ts-5 will probably do well in win rate because plenty are in the hands of good and dedicated players who earned them by grinding. This means the TS-5 will regularly be piloted by better players with good crews, more equipment and better tactics. The win rate will also be a result by player base, not because it's a better tank exclusively.

Super armor and it needs to be, as that gun has very limited movement so there's real angling the vehicle in a fight. It's still a bit too slow to get into the action quickly too. Personly, I prefer the Chinese WZ120G FT at tier VIII.

All the help new games need is what all players needs, a matchmaking taking personal rating into account. So red players will fight mainly red playes with a few yellow and so on, this and no tire spread is the only fair MM ever. Tire spread is still bad and makes is impossible to fairly balances tanks since you have to consider all tire matches.

Honestly I think the WZ 120 1GFT is better. Basically the same DPM, the exact same penetration, 440 damage, slightly less armour but still quit effective and much more maneuverability and speed

i've got that destroyer in wot consoles and that tank is the best tier8 destroyer without question. it can snipe or brawl equally well. it can easily relocate from one side of the field to the other. great frontal armor gives lots of deflections - great camo......no real weakness to it.
