It sounded like you said it's actually the nano-textured glass, not just a screen protector, is that correct? Sadly, to get the same glass from Apple, they make you spring for the most expensive iPad models, then tack on another $100, if I'm not mistaken. I assume that's not just here in the States. Are the matte screen protectors that good? I have been thinking of trying one but have no experience with them.

Think you got the pricing wrong, it's £449. I was excited by the offer (thinking there was 1 paper matte edition) quickly looked at a few reviews - ordered one £349 without S. Back came the tablet without access to GOpaint software, charging on tablet and many compatible google options. Sent it back was too good to be true

This one 11.5S's screen is reduced bright to get a better reading experience and screen is made for a good writing feel as well. Take this one if u like to read and note taking

The certificates and screen features of the two are almost the same. Air Papermate edition seems to have the same technology. Moreover, I think Air is much better in processor and other general features. This situation makes me very indecisive!

@@Ss17900 sorry, i got it wrong. Because i didn't even know about the Air Papermatte edition, i had just known the normal version. If it is available in Germany i would buy it too. The Snapdragon 888 is definitely better. But the Matepad 11.5s is on sale in Germany 450 Euro for the keyboard and pencil so i ordered it today.

It is actually super useful. We can scan and save documents. We can digitize them and sign them. We can also switch cameras during video calls. In iPads it can generate 3D models with lidar and camera.

It’s quite divisive. It gets annoying when the tablet rocks due to the protrusion. imo, having a camera that is flat or sunken into the tablet is the best design imo. The camera doesn’t have to be as good as a phone, but it shouldn’t be intrusive to writing.

Was about to say the same thing, it’s a little misleading. Actually quite misleading. People could either think it’s e-ink and think it’s poor for videos, or think it doesn’t need back/front light due to the description. Is it because people are afraid of the word “matte?” it’s something people, especially gamers either love or hate for monitor use.

Wish you'd mention harmonyos 4.2 doesn't come on global huawei devices, that was a waste of 500 euros. Pen doesn't work at all, software is "up to date" at harmonyos 2. No gopaint app in sight. Good speakers though.

So because the screen is matte you think it's kindle-like? That's not how that works. E-ink and "papermatte" have nothing to do with eachother. At all. Also, "this is blissfully light on bloatware". The moment you say that you show a screen with all sorts of bloatware. Also also, a matte screen can be done on a lot of devices just by putting a matte screenprotector on it.
