If I remember correctly, the Sheridan was developed as part of the Rapid Deployment Forces and was suppose to be dropped from aircraft on a cargo sled with parachute hence to aluminum armor. If was given additional armor plates later on which made it to heavy for air drop, and the plates had a tendency to rattle off the tank when firing rounds rather then missles.

The 82nd Airborne used them (air-droppable/amphibious) as part of the initial RDF during Desert Shield, they were fun to watch at the range (MGM-51 Shillelagh).

Little trick with knowing which ammo you have loaded. If the box has a yellow border, it will be loaded next, after the chamber has cleared. And with ATGMs, the scoped reticle changes. ATGMs dont have a vertical scale

phly if you see the ammo type in dark grey, it means you have it loaded. so even when you change the ammo the shell loaded is the same. to change the shell loaded you have to click the wanted ammo type again and the shell will be changed in the barrel

the reason you had atgm up on that rjpz was because if you have a round already chambered in tank battles, you can't switch ammo until you fire. you can switch in the middle of a reload, but that resets your reload, so the best thing to do is to switch ammo, shoot your round, then it reloads with the other type. then again you probably already knew this but you just forgot to shoot your rocket off.

The HEAT, ATGM test: Press zoom, if you can see distance markers on the vertical axis it is a heat shell or any other conventional shell, otherwise it is an ATGM

Why can the Sheridan take 30 ATGMs? There's no physical way that many rockets could fit in that tiny hull. For the record, Wikipedia lists the combat ammunition complement as 20 conventional rounds and 9 Shillelagh missiles, which seems a lot more reasonable.

Reasons why the IT-1 is better: 1. Stock SACLOS missiles. You don't need to research and pay lions for them. 2. Also has mouse guided missiles and it can take down planes more easily as its SACLOS, where as the Sheridan has infrared, making it difficult to detect the enemy's heat when the plane is far away. 3. Has the 2nd best penetration, 500 mm and fly's faster (220m/s) than the raketenjagdpanzer's ATGM' s. 4. Most armoured ATGM tank. Even if you play against tanks that can still penetrate you, you are still more likely to survive artillery, bombs, and sometimes rockets. Whereas the other ATGM tanks have no more than 50-90 mm of armour. Except for the British one. Need I say more?

Everything I ever read about this tank is that every time they switched from the missiles back to regular rounds, they had to re-zero the gun sights, because the missiles would knock everything out of wack.. I guess they won't represent that in this game..

How to spawn with the ATGM as your first load out: Right before you spawn, in the menu, click on the ATGM then click on the heat rounds when it gives you the option to change shells

I could be wrong because I have never seen this tank fire ATGMs in real life, only regular HEAT, but shouldn't the ATGMs fire straight since they are launched from a barrel? I understand why the IT-1 ATGMs will freak out a bit when fired because they are fired from a stand, but the Sheridan fires from a barrel so I would assume it should fire straight. Please correct me if you know the actual answer. Don't just guess.

Swedish Armed Forces: Strv 81 And The de Havilland DH 100 Vampire. Both of these vehicles were introduced to the Swedish Army in the 1950/60's. Make sure to use those 84mm Sabot rounds and those Robot.52 ATGMs to full affect against the Communist Soviet Union's tanks! And those x4 20mm Hispano-Suiza cannons to eliminate the Soviet jet aircraft! Eddie the pinhead Bonk well it is the game's logic but when you join the army, the penetration of the shells and the rocket are not that important because in real battles the tanks are identified as a dead tanks when the track is destroyed even by the smallest shells, you won't need a nukes in your tanks, just destroy the tracks or the engine and you are done

PhlyDaily do a event with Baron! Event idea: Normandy, Allied team landing on the beach with LVTs and the LVTs have to survive the beach defence (Germany Reserve vehicles) then the Allied team gets aircraft and Shermans but the Axis team gets Panthers and planes and if the Shermans and the LVTs manage to destroy the Panthers, The axis team gets Tigers >:D! And if the Shermans and the Planes and the LVTs survive the Panthers, Tigers and axis aircraft they win!

I'm so glad I quit WT when these things came out, and in doing so I've extended my lifespan by at least a year. I knew they were going to be completely broken and out of place in this game, I'm here mildly raging about the colossal bs types of kills you can get with these.
