Growing up in Fiji, here are some things to definitely do while visiting our nation. Eat our local meal cooked in the ground called "Lovo". Be sure to find a "Hot Bread" shop where daily fresh bread is made. Having a "Cream Bun" from the Hot Bread is a must do! Also, try to have a meal with a local family. Fijians are very welcoming and love to have you visit. The "real" Fijian experience is found among the people, not in the resorts. (As is the case in most countries :) )
