Don't bother going to Oceanside unless you like methheads. That place is disgusting and full of crime. It also smells bad because of the pollution.

I just got back from here, I highly recommend this place. The best doughnuts are at Parlor Doughnuts and let's hear it for Pappy's corner store all within walking distance from the Strand

I am looking to Live in California within the next year and Oceanside has been on my list for quite a while now, I’m British so it is definitely a far place to travel to but I have family who live in Temecula, as I have always lived by the coast I’d like to live in a town/City that is close to a beach of some sort, and I am a massive fan of good weather. Would you say that Oceanside is a good place to live? Do you also know if it is cheap to live here also? Thank you 🙏🏼

California is a wonderful place to live, I'm half an hour away from Temecula but it's perfect. Big Bear (snowy mountains) are about an hour away, the beautiful ocean (we usually go to Dana Point) is an hour away, San Diego is an hour away. It's just so convenient. Las Vegas is a four hour drive, Mexico an hour and a half. I hope you find something close to your family in Temecula. Try looking into Menifee too! Both great cities.

2024… best thing to do is look out at the ocean. Don’t face the opposite way or you will see the drugs, homeless, oh and the gangs are lovely this time of year. PS a when visiting make sure to hide your valuables out of sight, you can lock your doors, they will just smash your window. Maybe just leave the windows down so you don’t have to replace them
