Hey guys. Y'all look great. We met at Lake Conroe. Colorado River and Alpine Lakes are my 2 favorites too. I'm gonna be up around New England this summer. I'll check out Timothy Lake South. Medina is nice too but too much deer scat. smooth roads and safe camping

We heard that also about Medina but didn't have that problem at our site fortunately.... which is shocking because we were feeding herds of deer daily there!

We have a stay at Kenisee Lake on the books. Sounds like we are in for a good one :) . We have this one on your best list and the place in Kentucky off the worst already booked..... lol

You guys mentioned Texoma , have you heard about the German WW2 POW's that helped build that lake? Sounds like they were treated well and they were trusted with dozers etc. Did you guys go striper fishing while you were there?

No, we hadn't heard that but a very interesting story! Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to fish when we were there but it is on our list of places to return for that very reason!

I don’t honestly. It was a corner site on the main road. I do know there were tent sites adjacent to where we were. Close to where the lake was.

The price of fame is high. 😂 We love TTO but it’s easy for me to be outside as I don’t have much notoriety 😎 We’ve spent a lot of time at the Chesapeake preserve and enjoyed it. Lots of summer weeks there with the kids. Hershey, Circle M, Williamsburg we’re all nice. I did a review of TT Lynchburg as I feel it gets a bad rap 😂. It’s ok. It does its job but it’s remote for sure. ✌🏼

We are going full time in 18 months. Thousand trails sounds good but there is so much negativity about TT on line that it concerns me. It's a good amount up front and I'm concerned we wouldn't use it or like it. I wish I could find a reasonable honest opinion.

That is what we try to provide. Just like with anything there are pluses and minuses. For Thousand Trails, the pluses far outweigh the minuses!
