Coming back to this video just to say, holy crap SNS Wand is everything we were warned about and more. I’m in a dominion event and this guy has 150 stacks of the event item. I kid you not, 5 dps are laying into this guy and we are doing nothing. Everytime he dropped below 20% he clicked something that restored him to full health and then he just went about his business farming mobs. He couldn’t kill anyone, but he was absolutely untouchable. Hilarious at best, terrifying at worst.

Most people just don't realize that when you play a melee dps in a zerg your role is primarily within your ball. peeling with your big damage and cc. Punishing overextenders and when your ball is pushing theeen you can get lit. a s&b spec will allow you to be more disruptive in the standoff phase though so it's about preference.

Exactly a GS/Dag will serve a diff purpose in a ZvZ or GvG than an SnS/X will. Well said, however some GS/Dags can infact move to flanks or shadowstrike/dash into backlines to pick off targets fast during the chaos and get out with invis

When built right, they're A-S tier in basically everything, Small Scale, Large Scale, Zerg vs Zerg, PVE - you name it! One issue with GS/Daggers is the tendency for most of them to rely on popping things like Lighting Infusion/Inject Venom - it's a part of their kit and muscle memory, however into a Staff/Bow that's built right they'll be tanking you for days with their passive that procs when receiving Weakens.

It can do really well in small scale. It’s just much harder to play effectively cause you don’t have a dagger. I’ve seen some insane. Staff bow players in both arena and small scales. This game isn’t balanced around 1 V 1 whatsoever. There are matchups that every combo is meant to lose (almost every combo)

whats the damage drop off for tanks are they like other mmos hard to kill with pillows as weapons dealing zero damage because ive seen a couple of videos of people just diving into a clump of enemies just too stun them and nothing else, looks kind of boring pvp wise if i cant kill anything, also are they necessary for pve or am i just going to struggle if i do anything solo? I don't think they get talked about enough like dps people just say yeah obviously stier.

it obviously depends on which tank you talk about, if it's like sns/wand then damage is very low but tanking is very high, but if you talk about something like a sns/gs it's really good damage

Yeah... People ranking GS Staff low don't know how to build it/will automatically call out to a "meta" it melts tanks, counters daggers, and out dps sns wand if you build it correctly. Not saying its the best build in the game, but people are certaintly sleeping on its crazy potential.

con lo unico que no estoy de acuerdo es que , staff and wand sean ranking s , yo lo use tres meses y no habia forma que ganara un pvp 1v1 el silense del daguero automaticamente te deja en la nada , quisas ahora este un poco mejor si alteras algunos skills o si tienes muchisimo alcanse pero no tienes una forma rapida o un cc contundente para entrar en pvp y hacer un ataque sorpresivo que deje al oponente a tu mersed

Was this before skill expressions? Staff/Dagger can 100% 1v1 now especially with the passive that reduces your silence on yourself and the amount of damage it has access to now.

Its so frustrating to follow the meta since you need to change all your gear and mastery. They should make it like albion online, so you can switch to the meta build without the need to grind again. People can enjoy pvp more
