Hi, Kelley! Thanks for asking. I haven’t had a ton of experience with newsletters, but here is what I do know. Two years ago, our principal spent a TON of time every week putting together a very nice, interactive newsletter. At the end of the year, he asked for feedback, and our staff told him they really just wanted something simple. He took that feedback and pushed out a weekly Google doc this year that was much more streamlined with the information they needed, and it saved him several hours each week. The feedback he got on it this year was overwhelmingly positive. All that being said, simple is better, and make sure it matches the wants/needs of your staff.

Great idea! I'd never thought of that. I just got an assistant principalship at the building I worked in as a teacher. I'd love to see some suggestions on becoming a supervisor in the same building.
