A poor choice of snips can lead to frequent dulling. They can also increase muscle fatigue in your hand and forearm. 🔀Direction of Cutting Using the correct snips not only helps you get the shape but also eases the cutting process for your hands. The best piece of advice while using snips is to have your gloves on, to avoid any fatigue onto your hands. 🔀Longevity Having sturdy snips is essential. Of course, you’ll still have to keep them sharpened - cutting metal isn’t easy on them. But being sure they’re not going to fall apart is key. 🔀Grips for Metal Thickness The larger the grips, the better they can handle thicker metal sheets. Tin snips maneuver well with thinner sheets made of tin and other similar metals. Aviation snips are available with larger and wider grips to accommodate the thicker sheets. 🔀Warranty Some manufacturers offer a warranty of more than a year if the snips are meant for heavy use. The lighter ones come with a limited warranty and shorter warranty durations. 💬 Let us know what you think of these Tin Snips in the comment section below. 👉 We appreciate every thumbs up and would be grateful if you’d consider subscribing to our channel!! ------------------------------------- 🎥 Welcome to the official KZbin Channel of HVAC Training 101 🎥 HVAC Training 101 is dedicated to helping you make smarter buying decisions when it comes to air conditioners, heaters, air purifiers, and other HVAC-related items. 🌐 Learn more about us: hvactraining101.com/about-me/ 💻 Like our Page: hvactraining101.com/facebook/ 📢 Follow us on Twitter: hvactraining101.com/twitter/ 📱 Check out our Pinterest: hvactraining101.com/pinterest/ 🔴Subscribe to our Channel: hvactraining101.com/youtube/ ------------------------------------- Disclaimer: Some of the footage used in this video is not original content produced by HVAC Training 101. In the past 37 years I’ve converted many apprentices and journeymen to craftsman/midwest snips…they are the Ferrari of snips…nothing else and I mean nothing else can preforms like them. Give them a try and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Make sure you get the offset version tho. And one more thing…every great sheetmetal worker knows unless it’s a pair of bulldogs stay away from the yellow handle (straights) snips.

Malco max 2000 left and right angle snips are the best snips on the market. Then I would go with mid west. I have bought and used all these other brands extensively and they are trash. Also straight angle snips are useless. Anybody who have used Malcos after using any other brand will agree.

Wiss😂😂😂 Midwest all the way I used Stanley fat max for years but Midwest make them look like child’s toys Midwest stay sharp for years especially if you buy the hardened steel set Just you saying Wiss tells me you are not on the tools 🤡

I have wish mainly because I've seen others use it never heard if Midwest or rigid snips until now
@DiggidyD Жыл бұрын
Best on the market is Malco reds and greens specifically the offsets. I’ve tried cheap amazon, DeWalt(I’m a DeWalt guy), Milwaukee, and Wiss but nothing is better than the Malcos

How is midwest under wiss. How is there no Stubai or Freund. I work in architectural and no uses the ones on this list except midwest which I prefer. But just my opinion and preference.

As an Australian sheet metal tradie we never use tin snips to cut wire it's a very big no

If you don't think Rigid snips are the best it's because you didn't know they existed.
@drake3004 Жыл бұрын
Are they better than wiss and the Midwest?
@themeanaverage.1692 Жыл бұрын
Definitely more manoeuvrable than the wiss and on a par with mid west for sure. I use them all day everyday for years now. Still sharp.
@paulmac766711 ай бұрын
Have used Ridgid offset snips for decades and they were great. Bought a new pair a week ago, but they have changed the design and now they are utter rubbish. Back they went! Going to try out the Midwest.
@MiguelHernandez-vg6dp2 жыл бұрын
this video is a joke, they don't know what they are talking about, the best brand is Midwest, Malco and snap on, the other brands is for home use only.

I’ve had the same pair of wiss for 3 years now I use them everyday and treat them like shit fell from my ladder a million times they still work mint
@themeanaverage.16922 жыл бұрын
They are quality. But because of the bigger bills they are not as good in tighter situations in my opinion. Rigid and Mid West are better in tight situations
