Omg yes. This is what I do ❤ Highlighting the wide part makes it look like that skin is the area under your eye instead of part of a wide nose. I'm glad someone else does this.

She’s just getting into makeup and she just asked me the other day if I could contour her nose. I don’t know how to contour a nose! I’m a pink undertone girlie so it works great for me to just bring my blush up there to make it blend with my cheeks. If you love blush and have the right undertones it’s definitely worth a try.

Yesss, as in to blend it into the cheek. It makes it look like this part isn't the side of the nose but rather the cheeks, it does indeed make your nose look thinner.great trick 🌟

Did this on accident with translucent powder years ago (before it became a trend) and I've been doing it ever since. I don't really contour my nose, I just powder the sides of the bridge and highlight the peak of the bridge and it gives me the look I want without making my nose look obviously contoured at certain angles.

Valid asf! This is my secret to good nose contour, especially for like drag or character makeup. I like to bring the top of that triangle of highlight all the way up to the inner corner of the eye. After it’s blended all together it helps to look more seamless and natural like it’s actually your nose shape

I feel like what she was saying was a bit confusing😅 But what she was trying to say I think is everyone has different shadow placement for their face, so you shouldn't always try that basic contour method of straight down the nose bc it might not work for you. And she was showing us a different contour method for a different shape nose in order to get the "slim, straight" nose effect☺️ you're super gorgeous btw!💕

I personally find wide noses beautiful. I don’t think anyone should feel pressured to change their appearance especially for Eurocentric beauty standards. If you wanna contour your nose you do you and it looks great, but please know that you don’t need to do that to be beautiful 💗

I like to use concealer over my the outer corner of my nostrils (everywhere where the crease is), for my nose type personally it makes a hugeee difference!
