Nah, I think the game failed, maybe the code counts the feet and not the whole body of the player, and that's why the offside wasn't triggered

I’ve paused it exactly to where the ball is at the midfielders foot, haalands feet are onside. But his head and body are well past the defender above him and pretty much the line in the grass shows how much his offside. Goal shouldn’t have counted but I’m guessing EA don’t know the offside rule

Defending is so lame this year he's right that it's most effective because there aren't many other options, if you manual defend like a real defender would and are aggressive you get yellow cards all day now! Compared to 25 manual defending last year and the playstyles like bruiser block and intercept were really good to bully ppl off the ball and satisfying when you made a good defensive save. Now you just jockey and intercepts are automatic if you're merely close enough to a player you'll get the ball off of them like it's nothing. Even players without good def or phy stats can do it too. It's so dumb and boring and there's no satisfaction because it's so easily automated. It seems like playstyles matter less this year because I have cards with no playstyles outperforming some with them. The whole coding of the game is so botched
