As a beginner, this was a bit overwhelming, but I plan to go back and listen in parts and take notes. As a Lexington native, I definitely laughed at how you played us, but it was true.

Great tips! This can be complicated to stay on top of all of the various websites but I would agree that Points Yeah is my current favorite to research flights and see which programs offer points transfer deals to save money. Instead of Flight Connections, I like use user interface better on Flights From. I use it to easily research every route and scheduled flight from every airport. This can be helpful when you are researching flights and figuring out which airlines or routes to use. I have a few others that made my "Ultimate Gear List" but these two are my favorites.

Without paying for an upgrade version is Point Yeah, does it lock you down to searching within four days only?

Your video is absolutely fantastic. What apps do you recommend to keep track of points from multiple sources and the best flight / hotels deals? Thank you.
@chris-hutchinsАй бұрын
@@matheusd.soldatelli6817 for tracking points, AwardWallet is the best (in my opinion$ but it’s not perfect. For keeping track of deals, I like cardpointers (see chrishutchins.com/deals for a discount)

Great Video! Based on all the tools you mentioned if you can pick maybe 1 or 2 Max what do suggest for someone in P1 mode? Not trying to break the bank here and go overboard and pay for every single one of them. I used to love expert flyer until star alliance was removed as it would search and send you alerts for saver awards. Not sure if the tools you mentioned can find savers, or if you need to know what the saver rate is. Thinking it may be best to start with 1 airline tool and 1 hotel tool. Thanks

My enigma is trying to find Qantas mileage awards using AA points or Avios. I just don't see Qantas awards although they list them with Qantas points.

Booking separate legs to get the best deal sounds like a logistical nightmare. Wouldn't you have to leave security, get your bags, re-check on the second leg and go back through security?

Why use these apps when you can use google fights? Sincere question.
@chris-hutchins3 ай бұрын
@@susangarrard2753 these are for searching for flights you can book with points/miles while Google flights shows flights you can book with $

Great video, It looks like for experts and geeks, seats.aero is the winner I believe calendar and explore combined is the hoy grail, kinda like google flights for awards. Funny that is these tools become mainstream and awards become crowded, all these tools would lose its effectiveness. Cheers
