I’ve had 8 Cummins powered Dodge/Ram trucks, at least one from every generation 1st-5th over the last 14 years. I’ve loved them all. I still have a 3rd gen and currently have a 2022 Ram 3500 HO Cummins ordered. That being said, I had a 2021 Powerstroke and I loved it too. Things that stood out to me were the tuning radius and headlights. Greg mentioned the turning radius on Silent Mike’s 450 and I noticed that too. My F250 would turn way tighter than any Dodge/Ram I’ve ever had. Then the headlights are worth mentioning too. My 2021 F250’s LED head lights were by far the best factory lights I’ve ever seen on a vehicle. They were way better than my 2019 Ram limited top of the line LED lights. Also, stock for stock, my 2021 Powerstroke would absolutely run away from my 2019 3500 HO Aisin Cummins empty or loaded. The difference was shocking. So I’d love to see a late model powerstroke on the channel. All that being said, I sold my power stroke back to the dealer after owning it for 15 months for the exact same price I paid for it. Why did I sell it back, because I got what I paid for it, and I found a dealer ship that would order me a 2022 Ram 3500 HO Cummins for around 10% off sticker. That’s the main reason. I got a year newer truck and put about $13K in my pocket. Even though I liked the Ford a lot though, I wanted to get back in an inline six diesel because V8 diesels are not really my thing. I like Ford, but semis, tractors, dozers, and pretty much all heavy equipment have inline sixes and not V8s for a reason. Just my opinion. 👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸

I have had the Shocker Hitch on my truck for over a year now, best hitch ever. When I had bought it I actually talked to the owner Super Nice Guy. I bought a Bicycle CO2 pump that I can carry in my door pocket, works well.

Torsion axels ride very nice. My 16’ bumper pull was very smooth and so is my 36’ enclosed gooseneck. Both have torsion axels. I’ll never go back to leaf spring trailers

Another thing I found on my trucks is using firestone ride right air bag it takes time but you can set the bags to help take the hard hit , I run the shocker on the truck and on the tongue on a 2 car trailer and it rides like carpet loaded down , I even have shocker for the b&w setup also

My buddy went from a 3500 to a 4500 dodge and I don’t doubt for a second micheal at all that the truck rides better then empty those bigger trucks ride like dog crap till it has a bunch of weight on it! Also wouldn’t complain to much if a 450 was the next truck purchase they are getting super popular and truck builds are the base of why I watch this channel!

One you will come over to Ford side, 450 definitely ride better with weight on them but you should be running a load stabilizer hitch if you ever try blue ox hitch you will never tow any other hitch

The f450 rides like crap when empty. If you get yourself a 100 gallon fuel tank in the front and maybe a couple side boxes for tools so that you can still tow a gooseneck or 5th wheel, it will help. That's what I did. I ended up going with a 2020 f350 platinum to replace my 2018 f450 platinum to tow my 34ft enclosed 2 car stacker with LQ in the front/nose. The f350 towed it just as well as the f450 but rides better when empty. I run a shocker hitch on my stacker and on my 24ft 1 car enclosed bumper pull I have the shocker hitch on the trailer instead of the truck. On the truck I just run a 3" solid shank 2" drop hitch and welded a nut on the bottom and drilled a hole through it so I can crank down a bolt and take all of the slack out of the hitch. On the ford's with a 3" hitch, I recommend just welding the sleeve in it, permanently making it a 2.5" hitch.
