This place is run by forest department and no one can enter this place without booking, the guards are also govt. Employees and their Job is dependent on guests safety.. so it is absafe.. it's not advisable to come down after evening as it's inside the wildlife Scanctury..

It was an amazing experience....i am a tea person... particularly when you guys had tea...wow it was as though i was enjoying tea in the midst of forest , sitting on the lap of nature.....and i liked the bit where we got to see Mani humming... beautiful. Thank you so much for taking us to such an exquisite place. Lastly, this reminds me of the poem written by William Butler Yeats " The lake isle of Innisfree" , where he recalls one such island where he used to visit as a child. Thank you once again. Two questions: Wher is this island, as heard Kerala style food was prepared... Next, where you kept your new vehicle.

This Island is inside Parambikulam Tiger reserve, once you book this stay and reach Parambikulam wildlife Scanctury Information center they will arrange forest guards to take you there.. vehicle is parked before the Boating start near a forest office.. these places are restricted to normal public unless it's booked

No it's completely your choice, in fact you need to purchase everything you want before entering the main forest gate 15 to 20km before. Once you enter the forest Checkpost there is no shop..
