It is very subjective for everyone to say that market has fallen a lot or risen a lot. Like i would say, nifty has come down from 18000 to 17000 so lets buy a long dated call, someone would say that its not fallen that much, he will wait for 16500. So in this case, what would happen to the guy who buys call when nifty was 17000, the index would hv even come down even lower by another 500 pts, should he not do anything just bcoz he has bought a long dated call believing that nifty is bound to move higher given ample time the call option has to expire?

पहली बार सुना है कि लम्बी अवधि वाले ऑप्शन्स भी होते हैं। वैसे तो मैं शेयर बाजार में नया हूँ और अनाड़ीपने में किसी के भी कहने पर लगभग एक लाख तीस हजार रुपए के अलग अलग कम्पनियों के शेयर खरीदे, और वो सारे के सारे घाटे में चल रहे हैं । अभी अगर एक रुपया भी लगाऊंगा तो दस जगह जांच कर ही लगाऊंगा।
