gian1989k in the Small spread, I use 8/0 to 9/0, except the top Aussie awesome I run a 10/0.

Are you using a cable rig or a stiff mono rig?

Philipp Federle cable stiff rig. Heat shrink around the eye of the hook and then at the top of the hook rig a loop to crimp mono with chafe tube finished off with electrical tape to keep the hook rig straight and track and stop the hook from spinning and flopping around.

Ne 4228 clear chafe tube you can buy at your local tackle shop. If you are in the ft Lauderdale area, stop by salt h2o custom tackle. Best customer service out there. Also have custom black Barts as well. No other tackle shops get the custom ones.
