Let's take a look at how to farm Infected Trophys (Uncommon) in Dying Light 2. This trophy farm is super easy and the results are awesome! One of the fastest trophy farms in Dying Light 2.

There is another one without any risk and can work in the day.: You need a dark hollow with bandits/renegades in it (that means there's also UV light). Only kill the bandits/renegades in the top floor at the entrance and after that you can make noise (like dropkicking or hitting the wall with a weapon/fists) to spawn virals that will be "stunlocked" by the UV lights. They won't die unless you kill them. The renegades/ bandits will take care of the ones below and won't die because of the UV light. You will have an Half automatic farm in the bottom floor while you have an manual farm at the top. When you create noise. Then the virals will spawn at the top floor and the bottom one. You will have about 350-400 uncommon trophies. You can't die because the virals are pacified because of the UV lights. They also can't (for whatever reason) die unless you or the renegades/bandits kill them. Edit: You could also probably make noise at the entrance inside the building and have 2 half automatic farms.

For the virals going into the UV light, it’s not a glitch. The devs said that in this event the virals had a mutation and they can go outside during the day without burning. So they don’t burn when they are exposed to UV light too.

It works also on coop. Just find the volatile hive and then say to ur friend to join. Also if u don't kill it after the night end, it still appearing virals without stop so is a farm without stop

If you’re doing it with your zones as a survivor you can use the survivor respawn every five minutes if you die and it spawns you close so you can go back and pick up all the loot. Plus I’ve found that the nest doesn’t spawn more volatile during the day you can keep doing it.

There is one method to always get the volatile hive and it will only work if you completed just one of the research centers, not all of them, otherwise the spawn will be randomized between all the ones you completed, but if you only complete one, the hive will always be on that one. If you hide under one of the bridges you can farm volatiles for rare trophies and loot. There are a few virals that come. A great place for this is near the PK Floating Fortress. Sleep in the subway to start the night. Run outside and hide under the bridge while the volatiles kill the PK patrol at the small tower. Afterwards, engage in a chase and run back to the bridge. Make sure the volatiles are following you, and when they are in the canal with you, get under the bridge. Also a good idea to bring Immuntiy boosters and medicine, but if you stand in the right spot near the corner you CANNOT be damaged if you are standing up. If you are crouched, you can do it faster but risk damage from melee/ranged attacks. Once you kill them all, run back towards the fortress, and as soon as you get near the UV light, more enemies will spawn and you can run back to the bridge. Doing this also makes the bodies turn into bags, making it very easy to pick them all up in the morning. If you go into the fortress the bags will despawn.

Also, make sure to have your UV flashlight ready, because the volatile jump/pounce attacks have a chance of them clipping through the bridge, and you can prevent it. Bring a two handed weapon to hit multiple enemies at once. You can make about $15k in one night

It’s too slow. I’m farming by the van that takes you to carnage hall. I usually fight between 7-10 volatiles at once. I use no glitched weapons (they over 500-600 damage) and in one night I get 7k to 10k mutation samples I think they are called. I’m maxed level and at level legendary 45 I think. Just bought bloody ties and need to farm to buy those weapons. They too expensive

No idea where to get military tech to upgrade the paraglider... But weapons I make exceed 300 damage now so I can kill stuff real nicely. I just still need hundreds of uncommon trophies to upgrade all my schematics.

Is hard really the best difficulty (apart from xp)? I thought the drop rate went up quite alot on easy. Is all farming best done on hard?

Some cases you are right. but with hard, more virals spawn (even if you get less loot you are still just going for trophies). If you were not aiming for trophies then put it on normal or even easy.

Way to many volatiles running in from outside to check out the noise. Hopefully after this event that wont be an issue soni can actually farm trophies to start upgrading stuff as volatiles suck to fight especially since they made them impossible to 1shot. if you go in to the dark hollow at night die and respawn next to it the encounter seems to spawn 60 percent of the time

I like the glitched Mili Machete but OH BOY the Heavy Tribal Axe is the best weapon in the game for me. Eversince the new update you can put 2 mods on it and repair it with the Korek Charm, which you couldn't earlier. Spark and Flame and it's so fun On the trophy farm, I just go to a Howler GRE Facility in the lowest level. A good 150 uncommon trophies + some rares each time, just very chill that way. If you sneak on top of one of the tables the AI gets confused and most times won't attack and instead try to jump onto the table too

Heres another farm but for large trophies, only works during night tho, Wait for a viral rush fully loaded alteration (preferably not pistol) Go into the dark hollow north west of the fish eye, enter through the gap in the wall and throw a uv bar or shine the volatile with a uv flashlight, shoot the volatile till its dead, loot it, go far away since the 2nd and third floor have a demolisher spawn, and go back

Hah, I remember doing this. Since the virals kept coming, I used it as a farm. DOESNT mean I wasn’t shitting my pants though, I was on low health the whole way through. I died in there but I came back to the same position and the trophies were still there. I was happy.

Sometimes they get stuck in the top entrance so you have to go give them a bit of help. Other times the hive might be a dud. It’s annoying I know but you will just have to kill it, start a new night and start again. Remember that some locations are more often than not a dud so try to use the one I show In The video as I found this one to be reliable. I have done so much farming that I have maxed out at 9999 of all trophies and crafting items. If you need drops, jump in the discord and check the chase level channel. 👍

How do you one shot though? I'm playing on hard (haven't gotten to legend levels yet) and I'm level 8 with higher damage weapons than you but I still need to hit virals 2-4 times and whack volatiles for a while to kill them. Not sure what Im doing wrong any idea?
