5 second dead bride can only be achieved with crit mods. You can also get 3 seconds on executioner if you consistently hit crits. My timer ended at 9:57 but it ended up being 4 seconds for executioner. So it’s possible. Good vid, I also think crit is still good for Freyna solo bossing.

Boss kill time is valuable information, but I don't think it's the best or only metric to utilize for determining which approach is better. The idea between crit versus non-crit is how consistent enemies can be killed. I think this becomes more relevant in those dire situations where there's a room full of mobs bearing down on you and you're on your last sliver of HP. You want to make sure your skill kills them all by a certain time and amount of MP or one's going to sneak through and give you that life ending talk. Comparatively, this is where a crit build might fall behind because it could kill a select few mobs faster but failed to kill a few very important ones in time. However, once we reach a scenario where everything dies within seconds though, the entire argument of which is better is quite irrelevant.

Non crit is just as fadt and more consistent as not relying on any form of rng, plus allows you to have 2 extra mod slots open as crit needs 4 mods not 2 giving you an overall better build

secret garden looses any buff you get when you swap to her 4 because it counts as a different gun just as an fyi

@jamesprice7803 if yoir going straight 4 ability you can use anygun to gain mag mods but if your using secret garden for it's buff it will drop when you switch to any weapon including the 4. So if your mobbing it's fine

@devoltic8672 depends on the situation if your going straight for the 4 ability than anygun to buff the mag size ie perforator is just better. It's the same situation with haileys zenith. Outside of that your correct garden is better.

did they nerf the max bullets for her 4th ability? im using maxed out rounds per mag mods and i have a max roll 12% rounds per mag substat but i only get 90 rounds for her 4th skill. im seeing you have 94 shots.

Well the good thing is it’s not opinion as either methodology will be objectively proven to be better mathematically. Only been a little less than 30 hours since the update went live so I’m sure someone is out there putting in the time. Until then I’ll stick with my Hailey who solo kills all bosses (swamp walker included) in 7 seconds or less. Did a 2 second Pyro while farming the new modules.

4 sec exe, 4 sec pyro, 5 sec deadbride using the non-crit, not that I think that makes any difference tbh I might be able to do it faster with an impact weapon and mag substat, neither of which I have. Even if the crit were 1 sec faster, which seemingly its not unless you somehow get god RNG, also bosses like glutt exist that just denies you critting in general, having 3-4 mods instead of 2 just feels like a bad trade regardless.

@@angelus877 I got 5 on dead bride after the upload better timed my shots and got it no problem but yeah that’s why I said for speed running the first bosses up till gluttony and then you switch to the build shown at the end of video fam that’s still WIP and will be finished soon. Crit is stronger with Luna no doubt though and why I prefer it for speed running 80% of the bosses except gluttony and death stalker which I use the last build for. Because there is a 10sec cooldown full toxic dmg build in the video also fam I use both tbf…

how bad is the damage if you dont use the slayer set? Im trying the full crit build out and I dont seem to getting past 100k regular damage. I havent gotten the slayer set yet but i doubt thats going to give me 200k extra damage. I am also using tech instead of maximize power so maybe thats why im doing so little damage?

It’s all relatively similar crit in my opinion and hours of experience on the character has potential to hit faster time and consistently outputs the same numbers and higher numbers and times also works WAAAY better when buffed (Luna) non crit is WEAK with Luna in comparison and again… would love to actually see screenshots of all the same times in discord (link in description)

Crit is good, but RNG. New red mod offer similar DPS more consistently. That is the bottom line. Build whichever you like

If a non crit build is doing 400-600k dmg a shot, and you are doing 250-350k non crit, and 1.1k a crit, with same ammo count one is consistant while crit can have a chance to do more damage, is the comparison. lets take time to kill on boss outa this cause its meaningless with 1-3sec difference. can we just all agree both build are viable one has a chance(crit chance) to do more dmg while the other one is consistant?
