About the best demo video on youtube. For your info I found the electric guitar sections to be most telling of the quality of the microphone. I would like to hear more like this. And yes I do realise how much work you put into them & yes it is worth it.

Samson meteor is the most underrated mic, because it has 25mm big capsule core inside. Though i like how c1u and c01u pro sounds like. What a nice modding assets :)

Yep, I fully agree with the result - I too wanted to say that in this video C01U Pro sounded the most balanced out-of-the-box. I guess, the fact that I got the same conclusion means that my headphones (btw, Samson SR850) are good enough to distinguish good sound quality from bad one... or maybe Samson has tweaked their headphones to sound good with their microphones? Hmm, a new conspiracy theory :D

hey man, great Video, im Actually thinking about buying a New Headset (the hyperx cloud 2) or a New Mikrophone. My Budget is around a 100 bucks but i already got pretty decent headphones. I wpuld mostly use the mic for gaming or recording voiceovers for school. Im Not really shure what to do, although you gave an INCREDIBLE Comparison of all the mics. I know it doesn't fit the video but actually my real world impressions are only from the xlr version, the C1. I run it through a USB mixer (actually the xenyx 202 also by behringer, thanks to a stellar review by yourself) so I don't have that problem, agreed though that would be an issue with the C1-U.

I think q2u is better for speech, but I prefer dynamic microphones sound. More radio/broadcast tone. If you like that, go with Q2u. If you want wider open sound go with c01u pro..

Audio editing with audio editing software. Use either Audacity or Adobe Audition. I recommend to use Adobe Audition. If you don't have the money for it, then use the 30 day trial.

Can somebody help me? I cant decide between the Samson Meteor and the Blue Snowball. I want to use it only for Teamspeak, so Background Noise is a important factor, as in which picks up less background noise. and no thanks I dont want to spend more money on things like a Yeti or a XLR Microphone.

Alexander blue snowball better value and a lot nicer you are always able to adjust pickup anyway make sure its the regular snowball and not the ice

Janez If you get the Neewer 700 studio bundle ($35), and the Behringer Xenyx 302 usb, you will have everything you need with awesome quality. The 302 USB is a mixer and acts as an audio interface, but with more bells and whistles and is only 50 bucks. This is all plug and play and together is only $85 US
