Did I mishear or did you misspeak in your Thinkscan Max review? I think you said the updates were free for this tool. I like the looks of the "Think..." tools scanners but this review is driving me back to the Xtool A30M.

OBD2 Updates are free, and you get 1 Year of free Bi-Directional updates. Hope that helps, still using mine daily BTW.....it's a really decent scan tool 😁

@@MrGodsking Any Android tablet with Android 8 or above should be fine, I would suggest a 2GB Ram version if possible. Or of course an iPad if preferred

Any Android tablet (8 and above) or even an iPad might be suitable as it is advertised to work on IOS too. I would suggest minimum 2GB Ram though, just to be sure you have enough processing power 😁

Let's say you don't want to tote your tablet around, will you be able to use your phone while your tablet was at home for diagnostics?
