great video, covering the features. The charger DOES have a discharge feature so the storage will bring it up if its low and discharge if it is high, the discharge is 3w, which isnt super powerful, but it does have one...

Storage is a form of discharge. its discharges it to a safe level for storage lol

110 bucks for a 3s lipo and a charger that looks cheap. Not really thrilled about the prices, come down maybe 30 bucks and we’ll talk

Honestly this is what I liked about the Traxxas ID system... Very easy to get it right as a complete beginner to lipo batteries.

really weird they didn't swap the charger plug to an EC3* connector since the batteries are all EC3*. Maybe it was rushed to market? That or they literally look a Gens Ace charger, slapped a different sticker over the top of it and said DONE! Either way still cool but looks a bit half baked

using a IC3 would mean you are limited to the plug on the pack where the g tech in the balance lead means you can change any connector on the pack you wish, with out losing functionality...

Cool stuff, but the inclusion of a power cable doesn't seem like a good reason to get this over the GensAce. Might as well go with the original manufacturers, especially when the price is the same or better.

Yeah definitely avoiding this. I hate these smart chargers. They only work on the smart batteries really. So its useless on my other batteries and also not budget friendly.
