I love how you always tell about things other than just the hotels. It was so nice to see people dancing. Would like to learn the moves and join in, it is great to be a part of a good tradition.

Bon Odori (the dance shown in the video) is very impressive, isn't it? I also have fond memories of Bon Odori from my childhood. It's such an impressive event that I feel nostalgic whenever I see it. There are many easy choreography parts, so please try participating. I'm sure you'll love it even more if you participate!

Wonderful. Greetings from Canada. I love the Tokyo Sky Tree.

Have you ever seen the Skytree in person? I too am always overwhelmed by its power, which is different from that of Tokyo Tower.

I loved this hotel. It's simple but it has everything you need for a short stay, and with a small breakfast included, well located... just perfect!

I'm glad you like it! As you say, it's simple but of good enough quality. The breakfast is a little lacking, but if you eat the local specialities outside, it's not a problem!

are there people smoking on the rooftop? it looks like a very nice place to hang out and relax but i dont like the smell of cigarettes or smoking...
@SUKIYAKITravel24 күн бұрын
No, basically in Japan there is a separate smoking area, so smoking is prohibited in free areas and places like the rooftop where you can interact with other guests. Don't worry!

This is a very creative way of using plywood in a hotel. Very pleasant on the eyes, the bare essentials are all you need travelling. Most people don't even get to use the pool, gym or other silly things in hotels these days. And all you end up doing is paying for them without their use. I like a place where I can crash for the night, a private bathroom and if there isn't a restaurant on-site, at least one within a 5-to-min walk from the hotel.
@SUKIYAKITravel29 күн бұрын
It's true that hotel pools and gyms may be necessary for long-term stays, but if you're just sightseeing, it's not necessary. As you say, there are so many restaurants everywhere in Tokyo that it's fun to go out of the hotel and look for them ♪

I don't know... white curtains alongside the corridor seem a bit spooky to me... 😅 Oh, and I particularly googled the Starbucks branch in Fukuoka, but I wouldn't have guessed that these two buildings were designed by the same master architect... 🤭

I thought the same thing! The white curtains were a bit scary 😅 This is Dazaifu in Fukuoka! I think this store has the same feel. store.starbucks.co.jp/detail-1058/
