Question for Aaron. Post Covid of course. When will you be doing a demo tour in Canada? Hit up municipalities, school districts and golf courses all across Canada. The value of factory rep demo tours can not be overstated. It demonstrates transparency, serious commitment and faith in the brand to not bring a sales pitch but instead let your machines make the pitch for you. Yes this question is designed a little bit like bait because I would love to see ventrac populate my area. So many people aren’t aware of what they are missing out on.

Kevin - I've never been to Canada, but I'm a big fan! I like the idea. We do have 2 different territory reps that spend time in Canada and when the virus slows down I'm sure they'll be around more often than ever. Maybe I can sneak my way into a few trips with them and see what it's all about up there.

Had one for 6 months and hated it! Constantly looking for nuts and bolts that were falling off, the vacuum kept getting clogged and don't even try getting it out of a corner. Had to drag it sideways because no matter which way you turn, there's a set of wheels turning into what you're trying to turn away from. Took hours longer to cut because of all the problems. Lost 3k when I sold it back to the dealer. The boom mower was nice for around the pond.

I have a question, when I mow my lawn in NYwith a push mower and bagger, when I am on level 4 I am barely cutting the grass but if I go on level three the grass turns all yellow??

It sounds like there's too much of a difference in cut-height between those settings. See if you can try a different mower that cuts in between those cut heights to see what happens.

Hey Aaron, I’m a landscape contractor and I was wondering how fast the Ventrac can mow with weekly growth on the lawn and still cut well. This is crucial to me because of how fast a zero turn can mow and still have a quality cut. Thanks

On weekly cuts, you can likely mow at around 8 mph without seeing the cut suffer. With the deck this wide, it does consume a fair amount of power. Hey umm how much dose this thing cost? I use a push mower and I own about a acre and it takes about 1 hour and I have sticks and pine cones a ton a pine cones and sticks and some rocks to so I’m wondering how useful this would be for me?

What is the quickest way to saving enough money to buy a ventrac? I currently work at taco bell and do lawns on the side. I Estamate that if I keep going at the rate I'm going, I will be at the right amount on like 6 years. (If and only if I don't spend a dime) any tips?

Look at putting some of that lawn care money back into the business to become more efficient. For instance, if you make $30 mowing a lawn for an hour, consider saving up for equipment that lets you cut the same lawn in 30 minutes. Then you can double the amount of work done as well as your revenue. So if you have to save for a year to get a mower that lets you do that, you will actually be able to reach your goal in only 4 years instead of 6. (1 year of saving, then 3 years of double work. Just making up numbers, the principle is what is important).

Start with a used Steiner which is still expensive but less expensive than a new Ventrac and uses 99% of the same attachments. Over time you can upgrade your tractor and use the same attachments

@@emrythompson There are definitely differences between the two machines and I do like the SDLA lever on the Ventracs but the older Steiners are still very capable. Unless there is extreme terrain a good zero turn is going to be a better and faster mowing machine than a new Steiner or Ventrac . However, I trench, snow blow, leaf blow, brush hog, edge, rototiller, plow, grade, aerate, and move material with my Steiner daily and rarely feel that it isn’t fast enough.

You're on the right track! Saving your money is the best way to watch it accumulate. But do consider investing in other equipment along the way - if it can help you make money. Good job for already having a stable job as well. Network with friends and family and make sure people know that you're motivated to find new opportunities. Also don't be afraid to buy and flip used equipment if you know what you're doing. It can be a good way to put your saved money to work while it grows. You've got the most important part already figured out....dedication and drive.

@Ventrac , my idea for design is to only connect the hoses when needed to keep from snagging during deep brush cutting. They would have a protected storage bracket or double ended quick-connects so I can take the hoses completely off when not in use.

Would you want to do a video on our “modified” Ventrac one day when y’all can travel to shoot videos!? We put the stock cab frame on our 4500 and replaced the glass with diamond weave metal screen to make a golf ball cage and added a nice big light bar! We use it between 2-5 hours a day 364 days a year to pick golf balls on our range and to mow the entire property!

If you have to bag grass, we do have a collection system for that. Unfortunately, it isn't compatible with the Wide Area Mower since it's rear discharge. It will couple to the 72" side discharge MS720 mower though and you can still knock out a lot of acreage with that setup.

I can't believe we've never been asked that before. It was EXPENSIVE for a half-rotten gourd. Apparently when they get that big they become valuable for the seeds because theoretically they're good candidates for growing future big pumpkins. I think we paid a dollar/lb so it was the better part of $1,000. Didn't taste very good either 😜
