Wickes do a 12mm thick laminate worktop that is bonded under high pressure. Great to cut and glue and it’s fairly lightweight. Apparently it’s very hard wearing as well. Me and my son are just about to use it on both our new kitchens. It is available cheaper on other online sites.

Tip for you when it comes to spray painting walls and cabinets. Once sprayed, go over it with a roller. It adds texture and makes touch-ups much more difficult to spot.

Great as usual. Looks like you have chosen 'warm white' LEDs, about two years ago I have gone to 'cool white', it is better light for seeing anything and much less attraction to insects, has been a bonus. They are the middle of the road ones they do here called day light so they aren’t the super white light ones or the yellow light ones in the middle, they do show up a bit yellow in this but much nicer in real life. I started watching you guys a few weeks ago at 16,000 subs. Now 34,000 in just a few weeks, WOW!! But hardly surprising. Quick question for John, aka Guy :) will you be fitting an engine pre heater before you artic trip. Check out Alex at mispronounced adventures. Your videos randomly popped up a couple of weeks ago when I was at home ill.....I'm hooked!! Love a bit of TTT (I'm locked into DeWalt...but Milwaukee are great tools! Obviously too late for this build, but when you do another, take a look at the iMass instant hot water heaters dude. I've got one in my camper and it's brilliant. No issues with freezing (in the UK at least) whatsoever, instant hot water on tap and not much more than a Truma 💪

Wow I am Shocked to my core with Jess's Tool Talk Tuesday! I am seriously thinking of unsubbing if that carries on! I am now going on a long drive to find an Axminster tool showroom too bring back some calm to my shocked core. We wouldn't mind a 45 minute video as they go by so fast. I don't like the captive nuts that you have used as I have had them spin. there is a trick of adding a small screws to lock them in. I tend to use the threaded insert, and had no issues with them. The Over Spray on those Wagners is nuts, I have one that I used to spray my cabinets I build to replace one of our kitchens with as we had sort of two when we moved in to our house. One is now used as a bar and storage cupboards. I have never been brave enough to use it on the walls either. I did use it last to spray the walls of the Garden Room I built last year for the Wife. Looking forward to the next video next week.

Hi was inspired to use pop rivets when fitting a new top cabinet last weekend. I was contemplating using riv-nuts for securing the brackets but was worried about ruining the carpeting and the drill bit snatching through the thin section. I decided to take a leaf out of your book and glad to say the rivets worked an absolute treat. Every days a school day!

I'm a big fan of Bosch, be it an impact driver or a toaster, they last for years. Spent 40 quid for a kettle 13 years ago, 4 or 5 cups of tea every day and it still boils super fast.

I use a milwaukee M12 rivet gun for work, on a daily basis. Great bit of kit, my set came with 2x 4ah batteries. Those batteries last for ages before a charge is required
