Just a small advice: Sometimes you didn't tell us the person you were talking about. If someone doesn't really know the group, the names would be helpful because this someone might have heard it before or is just getting into the group and still doesn't know who is who by looking their face. But the autor of this video is so wrong about Jennie. She can't be last in Blackpink when it comes to stage presence. Realisticly speaking her rapping,dancing,singing,looks and confidence everything is on point on stage. There is a reason she is the centar of the group and the first one to get solo song.. I love the other members but for stage presence she has to be at least second if not first.

I love jennie as well.. Lisa and her are both my bias in BP but the creator's right. Jennie could be a hit & miss.. not consistent. Sometimes she can be at her best but at times, you can see she's lacking energy compared to other members (BUT NOT with her singing, if anything, I love her vocals the most) If only she could be consistent, she'll be 2nd or 3rd for stage presence.. Lisa's the most consistent one, even the other members acknowledge that so I guess that's why the author also thinks she has the best stage presence. Nevertheless they are all great .

Probably because of her having low stamina which she say so herself or just nervous.. And cmon not just jennie had injury like that. All idols do. But they still could handle it pretty well on stage.. others had it worse, some even had major accidents and have severe med conditions.. Even Lisa had shoulder and ankle injury but no one noticed cuz she's still the same on all their performances.. you knw what i mean

Agrees, but She’s quite good at dancing actually. She’s the best freestyler in the group next to Seulgi. Yes she doesn’t have the technical skills of Seulgi and Irene but she’s 3rd best and has been improving a lot, she’s got good hip movements, can hit sharp moves, her robot dance is the best and also has good rhythm.

if you're wondering why most of the top people are main dancers: the reason why most of the people with the best stage presence are the main dancers is bc it's easier for a main dancer to exude that type of energy. take Lia from itzy, she is only an ok dancer so her stage presence is a little off sometimes bc you can tell she's focusing more on doing the dance right. it doesn't make her a bad idol tho. the better you can dance, the more confident you are on stage, and confidence shows. but honestly you can be a born performer and not be the main dancer is soyeon, Yuna, etc. it's just easier for someone like San(Ateez) to have presence even when it's not their part than for someone like Jin bc dancing doesn't come so easily. you can be the worst dancer but still have the most presence, it's just that it usually doesn't turn out that way

Yup, BP in general have better stage presence in concerts, they are great performers in those especially Jennie. A lot of idols have said how much better is having the fans there and feel their energy, and how that pumps more energy into them. The problem is that Jennie is very inconsistent with both stage presence and dance. Her highs in dance surpass Rosé and near Lisa, her highs in stage presence blow Lisa's out of the way but her lows in both are so low. You never know what to expect when she gets on stage for promotional performances.

I don’t agree with choosing idols stage presence mostly based on dancing. For example in izone Chaeyeon is obviously the best dancer, but she rarely catches my eye in lives, Sakura on the other hand is stage presence itself. She isn’t seen as the top visual, dancer, singer or rapper, but is still most popular purely because you can’t take your eyes off her. And im not a stan of her or something this is just an example... For Jennie as well, I always can’t not look at her, even though there is no actual reason. Stage presence is something you just... have. Sihyeon too. Its crazy to me how many that are at the bottom here actual catch my attention a lot by just... existing really loudly.

The problem with Jennie (and that’s what a lot of people don’t know) is that back in 2016-2017 people used to accuse her of trying to outshine her members (because her stage presence and charisma was overflowing). Then she basically toned herself down because of the hate. Then she got a rough patch of those inconsistent dancing, she even apologised "for lacking" multiple times including on her BIRTHDAY (and I think there’s a reason behind her inconsistency. I don’t think she’s "lazy" especially seeing what she’s gone through in order to debut + the fact that she practices with injured ankles and knees even tho she was wearing crutches). Now it seems like she holds herself back and it’s hard to see her pop off unless she gets a rush of excitement which often comes from the crowd itself. I feel like Jennie just doesn’t want to get hate for "outshining" and now does what she has to do to not be called lazy either. It’s really sad to see... I wish she could be confident like in 2016-2017 and not care about the haters... 😔

I must say I prefer ice glares like Irene and Jennie when dancing, it gives me shudders and I'm left speechless like "Wow, I feel attacked" but I also enjoy the energetic smiles such as Joy and Jihyo so the ones in the middle are less likely to attract me. Idk if that makes sense but yeah lmao.

For me, in RV yeri has the least (im not saying she's bad). Though I'd say that both of them, irene and yeri, has clearly the least stage stage presence in the group due to their inconsistency. Yeri is because from the performances I've seen her, you can notice her skill in carrying out the dance and add that with her lack of facial expressions sometimes and less center moments, her energy is swallowed by the other girls. As for Irene, she makes it up with her skill in dancing though she's always given spotlight as the center. It's really sad for me to watch their past performances as it's like the both of them take turns who would have stage presence for that day. I love both of them and it just pains me that they are shadowed by the other three members in performing because I know they're both good. But, I've really seen them improved so much recently. Irene in monster and Yeri in Pyscho. I hope they both keep it up and I'm looking forward for the both of them. 💕

Don't expect wendy praise from this channel, I wouldn't go so far as to say they are an anti but maybe they just don't pay much attention to wendy as they do the other members. Even when analysing wendy's freestyle dance, they used the vid where she was purposefully dancing bad to make her member laugh, and not the LA freestyle which was pretty famous among stans

I personally agree with the fact that facial expressions contribute a lot in your stage presence. When you feel the song's vibe and you're enjoying the whole performance, a lot of people can't take their eyes off you. What you said about Lisa's Swalla performance is a perfect statement, "There is nothing that attracts people more than people seeing that the artist is ENJOYING what they are doing."

i think Jennie is tier with Lisa even she is inconsistent . She has natural charisma . not robotic .
