Fern is actually the most anoying of the three. She's constantly projecting her faults on to others, especially Stark. She gets mad at him for no reason. Puts him in "damned if I do, damned if I don't" situations.

Yeah is almost as if that is the result of a not optimal upbringing.. between being orphaned by war, being raised by an old priest first and a weirdly behaving ancient being later.. Is almost as fern has not a lot of experience dealing with people in general.. And those she had, had some quirk at best.. I mean Frieren is her master, a being she knows is ancient and powerful, part of the heroes group yet extremely sloppy as a person She is probably a very conscious person stuck with very non conscious people..and being petty or short tempered is the result in order to be listened to.. Also as Sein stated "you don't know how to deal with boys your age"
