Thank you so much you are freaking awesome. Starting a business and needed to make my own labels. All those other companies that will print them for you are ridiculously expensive.

Oh I'm so glad that I could help. It's tough when starting too because your labels change as you grow and when you buy from a big company you have to get like 100 a time to make it cost effective. Then you decide to change something and now stuck with all the stickers you purchased.

How did these works for you?
@ashlaraque4135Ай бұрын
@@rnguyen2516 worked out great for me. The only thing is, I used a different brand from the online labels. Also, in my case, we are preparing drinks that will be frozen with the label on, so if you’re doing something of this nature, then you’ll need to cover your labels in a second layer of transparent film. Don’t get me wrong labels are water resistant, but if you’re gonna be dealing with a product that has a lot of condensation, you will definitely need transparent film to protect the labels.

@@ashlaraque4135 that’s great to know! I actually need to do this for water bottles often for parties. What transparent film to you like?

I have an ET-3760, I've made a ton of stickers and can't remember the last time I refilled the ink.

Is there a specific printer you have to use with these papers or can you use any printer?
@cerebralartworks28 күн бұрын
@@AlbaDoggy Nope, I just use an Epson Inkjet. There are different sticker papers for laser or inkjet and sometimes even both. So just remember to look for the paper designed for your printer.

Love your videos! So you you put a glossy laminate OVER the holographic laminate? so ALL holographic stickers need a laminate on top? correct?
@cerebralartworks22 күн бұрын
@@biblewithjess Thank you so much! You don't have to put a laminate, it really is just to add that extra layer for UV/ waterproof protection and helps with scratch resistance. If you are just making for fun and putting on a computer or notebook kind of thing it's not totally necessary. Because I sell stickers I need to have it, it also makes the sticker a little thicker and not as flimsy feeling for a buyer. 😀

I'm curious I've been using the cold laminating sheets, I found some huge boxes of Scotch and 3M at a garage sale for $1 and I'm quite satisfied with them but they are very thick and shiny I looked at the matte sheets you recommended on Amazon and they looked like they had a bit of a texture and were maybe too matte. Is this just bad resolution on my laptop. Is there something in between really shiny and total matte like a satin finish? Thanks for the great info.
@cerebralartworks2 ай бұрын
So I would say it's probably the way the resolution is showing it. There is a "cloudy matte" that I found to be too much and the "smooth satin" was the typical matte finish that I know for stickers. I use it on my Etsy stickers for the matte option and have had a great response.

@@cerebralartworks thanks for the feedback. I've compared my stickers with a sample variety purchased on Etsy and mine are way more heavy duty, I guess not all sticker makers add the final coat of laminate
@cerebralartworks2 ай бұрын
@@sheryllamoureux1068 I agree many don't put a laminate on and they don't last as long. There are so many varying thicknesses of both the sticker and laminate, it's about finding the right combo for UV and water resistance that you can sell for a reasonable price.
