Need some further info. What is the suction depth of 1HP monoblock single phase pump ? We have a 12 feet sump and the pump is installed at ground level approx 6 feet from sump. I frequently have airlock problem. Should I replace pump with self priming pump ? Do I need to change location of pump to above the sump ? Kindly reply

Great video. I have an unground water storage tank and the pump installed about 15 ft above it. The overhead water tank is at a height of 70 ft . Can I take a 1 HP centrifugal pump for this. I am confused between a monobloc pump against a centrifugal pump. Does a centrifugal pump require a seperate motor or is it a composite unit ?
