I have a dwarf improved Meyer lemon tree I had in a large pot for about five years and two summers ago I planted it in the ground in my zone 8b , 5,000 feet elevation, near the Mexican border AZ Sierra Vista AZ. When I bought it in Tucson, AZ they told me it was hardy down to 25. I usually cover it if it goes below 32 and this last winter I covered it and added Xmas lights ( not led). Usually we would get 4-8 lemons off the tree this spring it put out masses of flowers. It lost 1/2 its leaves. It is on drip irrigation 1x per week currently my soil drains within 30-45 minutes. I have fed it, with Epsoma organic citrus foot according to directions, gave it some EDDHA Chelated iron due to chlorides last year. It only has two small lemons just starting and that’s all. It is in full sun and temps have been unusually cooler this spring but it is now 79 degrees during the day 50 at night. I read about citrus death where a citrus will push out tons of flowers and no leaves. What is wrong with my tree if you were to make an educated guess based on the information I provided. The nursery where I bought this said it needs 50-60 gallons of water a week. That sounds like an awful lot for a tree that isn’t quite 5 feet tall.

I have same problem! It flowered a lot just this spring and then died 3weeks later! I have that lemon since a year ago but the seedling is about two years old. I wish you will receive a feedback regarding slow drip! I just planted a new one and plan to create a slow drip. But im scared that I will kill it again. 😢

Damn you can't even do the public Justice by giving advice anymore without getting completely hammered wonderful video who cares about the pleasant music

Okay, music a bit loud, but the information is very helpful - just one question, how many gallons/liters per hour does each "dripometer" give? Many thanks!

why is he competing with the music in your video, it makes it almost unwatchable regardless the content.

It doesn't need to be this technical... Soak it good once the soil dries out. Better yet, add 3 ft of mulch too.

the only reason i didn't like this video was it was just too fast without any examples, i am a rookie at growing fruit trees and just thought the information was blurted out, thanks though im sure i will understand it more as i learn more about growing, dont stop making videos..

Ur music so loud u can barely hear the guy giving information

Yes, for those of us with clarity or other audio issues, it would be helpful to have this transcribed in text. Any speaker should mainly face the camera and speak slower. Thank you.

Could you turn the background music way down on these vids?
@aickoyvesschumann34006 ай бұрын
What does that even mean? "Three to 4 ft water well". Volume is measured in cubic units, e.g. cubic meters. If you must insist on using US customary units, it should be given in cubic feet. So, this video is practically useless, because nobody knows what he is talking about.

Why people play music behind their videos is beyond me. Good info but takes all I have to understand his message. I stopped listening half way through.

Dumb! I have a 5 years old orange tree short, rare oranges and crippled leafs. I think I know why! I never water them and the soil is 100% clay. The problem is lack of water!!! Thanks for this vid
