My son’s favourite food. He requests for cous cous every other week. Here is how I make it!
Ingredients:
1 and 1/3 cup of cous cous
250 ml of boiling meat broth or hot water.
Place cous cous in a bowl as in the video and pour hot water or boiling broth, cover with cling film and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Cooking the cous Cous:
- Use vegetable of choice (i used paprika, green peas, and carrot)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 shallot
- 1 tablespoon chimichurri sauce (recipe on KZbin- Foodace)
- 1 teaspoon @foodacespices All purpose seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- And steamed cous cous
Making the prawns:
- A pack of king prawns from Costco
- 2 teaspoons @foodacespices AP
- 1 teaspoon liquid seasoning
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- Pan sear each sides of the prawn
- Melt 60g butter
- Add 3 - 4 tablespoons of chimichurri sauce
- Combine all and serve
