About buying signal data shards: I've compared both prices and drop rates of shards, and it is clear that doing 100 crystal refresh for cantina is cheaper for ALL types of Signal Data shards. Here's my my data: rates for shard drop in cantina for three types of signal data shards are 1.37 , 0.93 and 0.66 for blue ones. There fore, price per shard for cantina refresh is always 33% cheaper vs when one buys in weekly bundle as 50 bundle.

It's cheaper with 100 crystal refreshes, but beyond that, you're limited by time. With the escalating relic levels, you might find you're more limited by your signal data farming rate than anything else.

@@ltsJustlan lol yeah i know. I didnt start farming arc trooper until i unlocked gas 2nd time around. I just farmed relic signal data. I had 200 of the first two, and 100 of the blue one. Took my GK to r7, Fives to r5, rex and echo to r2

signal data isn't the issue. that's an easy drop rate in cantina. It's the gear needed to create the parts for r5-r7 that is the hangup. getting a character to r7 in one week is unrealistic for most players.

i have big problems with Electrium Conductor... but zinbiddle isn't a problem for me... r5 parts easily create with farming 1-G fleet normal battle, and craft sienar holo projector from holo projector savages.

the problem is that wiring and that material for R6, zinbiddle is either not problem for me, since I bought all packs from beginning.. I cannot imagine if I didn't lol

I have better droprate than offer in the shop you are speaking about.. the trick is just stop farm, when they don't drop.. for example.. I farm 2 at once, if game do 0/2, I stop to farm and try later.. minimum 1 hour or so.. there wasn't single day I didn't do 10+ for 360 energy..

Another good video however biggest question I have is the relic material is easy to farm and buy however you need a good junk of gear also... do you Sacrifice your gear or do you buy the material instead? G12 + gear is hard to get...

I checked the math on this and it doesn’t work out. 100 crystals for 120 energy = 7.5 attempts 66% drop rate yields 4.95 blues So 0.0495 drops per crystal. 1500c for 50 in the shop is .0333~ per crystal Plus you’re forgoing the credits and cantina shop tokens and even Omegas, once in a blue moon.

They just told us the chars we will need in today's update. RJT r7, Finn r5 and RT r5 for the Resistance. FOO r5, FST r5, and KRU r7 for First Order.

I usually do singles and at a fast pace and almost always get at least 1 sometimes 2 and rarely zero except on the hardest one , but I get bang for buck. But that’s what works for me , I usually get as much as double than doing a bunch at once rather often. But to each their own. These are easy for me, it’s the heatsinks I hate that take up a lot of commonly used gear

Biggest bottleneck is that damn electrium conductor to go to relic 6 and 7. A full crafted gear 12 piece will only earn u 13 shards of that electrum (of which u need 20)

The crunch is with kyrotech to get that many g13 characters to begin with, and all the high end gear to get to r5, r6, r7. So sure if you spend money on those and spend more money on blue signal data, that makes it way easier....there's no way you're f2p

@@chickenleg176 I'm sitting on 11k right now and f2p. I just hoard those for quick farming when i need. Never buy gear (except golden eyeballs if I need them) because most are overpriced so I could get more from just spending crystals on energy. I use around 200-300 a day and get top 100-50 in arena so that helps a lot. But like I said, it's possible to have that many, it just takes time for them to build up

Hi Ian good video as always would like if you did some more Fleet like counters for neg & mal without using thesse 2. If possible would be awesome. I watched a video where scavanger rey falcon does 200k AOE damage is that only with resistance raddus ship or does it do same damage with AA fleet

Even the blues aren't that good, on average with a refresh you're gonna get (120/16) x 0.66 = 5 signal data per refresh. That's 20 crystals/data. If you're wanting to get more in than your 3 refreshes a day, then sure, but that's how shipments have pretty much always worked

hi ian i think i farming the blue ones in the cantina battle is woth it too because you get the extra amount of token for the shop to buy some token for the token store. for sure the rng is sometimes very bad otherwise it can be good. today i spend 2 refreshes into and about 60 energy and got 16 blue :-)

If you are able to put away 1200 every other week for signal data along with doing your daily refreshes, it should be totally doable. The vid was really meant for players who receive max crystals daily only to buy the shipments. If you aren’t getting max crystals then I’d recommend doing just the refreshes

everything should be at either relic 4 or relic 7. You should get all the 1,2,3 relics to 4 relic first. then once you commit to 5 relic they should go to 7 relic. the Heatsink and the Conductors are the real problem. Gear crunch is real.

must be different now, 3 full cantina energy refreshes a day and i maybe get 1 grey data. been after it for almost 3 months and still dont have enough for relic 3 on a single character, thats with 3 refreshes a day

I've been a longtime sub but your videos have gotten very ahnald like lately. 14+ mins to say something that takes 1 minute and all just boil down to spending making the title clickbait. 1 week won't happen using weekly shipments as they refresh once in that time so that means refreshes too and that means huge crystal sums. It also didn't factor in the gear for 6 and 7 relic tiers making your title statement false.

It´s not that good of a deal I think. You get 20 for 600 christals. The only real good deal in the game is 6 stun guns for 180 in the splitter store ;-) Doing the 100 refreshes cantina I get four blue ones at least, often 5 or even six from the seven possible draws. They are dropping much worse than the grey ones for sure, as I rarely see the max amount dropping but the shipment ones are only to buy if anyone thinks about refreshing for 200. Personally I think best way is to draw the normal cantina energy and one refresh on grey, one on green and another one on the blue ones. Not to mention that either your nor my tips are for the ftp out there. You need decent arena ranks to do so daily or a big wallet. ;-)

dunno man this is pretty shitty advice,, If you buys 50 of flawed signal data for 1500 and you sacrificing your cantina refreshes for it. 5 days of cantina = 3x100 crystals = 1500. i guarantee you will get way more of those by using cantina refresh.
