You should damp your hair before brushing to avoid causing damage to dry hair. The oil seals in the water/butter and that's how it stays moisturized. Oil is the sealant.

True however water does make us overcurl which makes it super hard to lay our hair down. One solution to this is the hatman method where after you rinse out the shampoo you add the product then rag up

Additional tips: Don’t use any curl enhancing products such as curl enhancing smoothie. This will cause you to overcurl and make it very very very hard to lay down your hair. Don’t use store bought products like cantu (just trust me your hair health would explode). And when buying store bought products make sure they are all natural and trust like As I Am and Shea moister(for the most part) Do the LOC/MOB (Liquid/leave in/moisturizer, Oil, Butter/ Cream) depending on what your hair likes your just going to have to experiment. I think here juice does the MBO (Moisturizer, Butter, Oil). And if you don’t have butter/ cream that’s okay just make sure you seal your hair with an oil after you apply and brush in the moisturizer

Use argan oil while you shampoo and use daily. You can mist your hair with water then seal using oil. Also eat a better diet.

Lmaoo wtf everything u said about oils was wrong in this video penetrating oils are the best oils for moisture to the hair hence why there called penetrating oils such as olive oil yellow castor oil not the black one thats a sealing oil theres a difference sealing oils such as black castor oil and hemp oil are meant to keep the hair thicker and to get thicker while sealing oils are for moisture
