Hi Manisha, I'd say doing a PGCE in person would be much better. Prices will vary, so find out from the places you wish to apply to. It doesn't really matter where you get it done, as long as it's from a reputable university. Hope that helps, and best of luck.

The higher ups decided there were too many teachers and a different campus didn’t have enough. They gave me a couple of days’ notice and I didn’t really have a choice.

@ssnakesv Yeah. It's happened to other teachers as well, although I think my notice was one of the shorter ones. Annoyingly, my rent is paid for up to November. I could cancel it, but that also incurs a cost. To say it's inconvenient is a massive understatement. But, Alhumdulillah, I still have a job and I'm still able bodied. Every day is a blessing.
