sir I have a question. Why to make adjustments? wouldnt it be better to book profit and move the strangle closer? I was recently working with an iron condor and booking profits on call side and shorting a lower strike price call was very difficult to do cause of adjustments. Even if the quantity is less I think moving easier is more important. Let me know if someone has an answer. Cheers!

Best strategy would be to buy 1 lot of ATM call option and sell 1 lot of call option of half price. Sell another 1 lot of call option of same price but this lot should be closed intraday. Therefore it will act as ratio spread and you don't have any downside risk for whole day. Next day if market opens gap up even by 1000 points you don't have to worry either because your position has become bull call spread. But if market opens normally then again add 1 lot intraday sell leg. If it goes near breakeven or if it is end of day again square it off. This way your intraday and positional both risks are covered.

Call side ratio spread with 100 points difference in Nifty becomes almost zero or debit strategy....whereas in Put side we can easily get 200 points ratio spread with almost nil credit

Hi Bro, have a question, the last OTM PE that was sold for 9rs was due to expiry and not to take unnecessary risk, to have profit we could have sold two lots of 9 (9*2=18) and would have ended in profit, is this a good approach, thanks for the content, its fab

Yes, it's possible provided you have enough capital to sell options, selling intraday is a losing game as there is wide fluctuations near to expiry
