paulsoaresjr i was thinking that. i always felt uncomfortable with any sort of role play by me. Whether it be game, therapy. etc. You seemed to me to really be enjoying the game and the role play was adding to your enjoyment of it. I tried the game out. It is entertaining. I think games like those would be even more fun if i were comfortable with roleplaying and used it. It is good for me to get out of my comfort zone. Maybe if I practiced it silently to myself while playing video games I could use it in other places where it is fun with others(like table top games).

Man I was just watching some engineering videos on material strengths and applications (dumbed down, not as smart as it sounds), especially the history of steel and iron, and I was thinking it would be super cool if there was a game that could help you learn that stuff, like you have to use coke and lime to remove impurities from the iron, you have to get your carbon mix right to make perfect steel, and if you mess up then it could be a far more expensive and time sapping process to re-refine that iron. Then eventually you can progress toward things like cheap, mass-producible steel and some guy could come to you and be like "yo, build me a whole railway." That'd be awesome if they implemented something like that into this game.

Nah man seriously, like I just find things like metallurgy really interesting and if you actually take a look at the history of metal smelting up until the industrial revolution there's a very consistent progression of technology that would lend itself really well to a video game. Like imagine you start out just making bronze from tin and copper like in the game, then maybe you start getting a few jewelry requests and you start working with gold and silver - that requires you to source more expensive materials and have a higher crafting skill though. You start working with crude iron, making cast-iron products until you discover how to make steel. You could then start using a crucible to make better steel. If you get it super-right you can make something like Damascene steel and that could complete an achievement to make a masterpiece sword, for example. You could even implement a story around your job, similar to Papers, Please. Your kingdom goes to war and you can defect and take your skills to a cause you find just, or maybe start working with a group of bandits because the money's better. But uh-oh, you cheaped out on their weapons and when they get attacked they can't defend your forge. That'd be a sexy as hell game, in my opinion.

there is the racks on the wall you can fill with grips, handles etc. id suggest each day you get several good tippers in a row, close a little early and hammer up parts for the next day so you can just grab them and put them together without having to go threw the process of hammering each time you need one.

you can pick up the whole crates. I typically don't actually keep copper around, but instead will buy it as I need it and drop the crate on the forge in order to deposit all of my ingots there.

You should try bringing the handle you need over to anvil to attach to the blade / hammer head you've made. Less chance of connecting the wrong pieces that way.

There's currently a bug with Greatsword prices. You can get around it by attaching the handle and blade first, before attaching the guard.

Paul you can carry the order box inside the house, that should save you some trips. Also the one handed sword actually is supposed to use two ingots, you are getting less money because you are selling a dagger with a guard as a sword. 1 ingot is dagger, two ingot is 1 hand sword/hammer, three ingot is greatsword/hammer. The donators dont actually give more money, they just are people that donated and got their name added to the game. And the greatsword is glitched at the moment. It wasnt supposed to give you such bad money.

Claes Petersson you need to upgrade strength five times for one fewer hit. Its not really worth it atm. Especially when you can do all your forging beforehand.
