I think best solo trek is to plan all thing on your own like where to camp,How much food to carry,Navigating the routes & all.That would be the real adventure & anyhow you meet strangers all the way without being associated to any trek agency.Concept of solo trekking is based on minimal cost. These companies you are suggesting are all commercial trekking agency providing package & earning profits. & for planning treks like triund,kheerganga ,chopta-chandarshila really dont need any outside help ,its pretty simple...routes are well marked ,just carry extra winter clothes & all.

There is no such thing like.. "Concept of solo trekking". It totally depends on individual to individual. All kind of trips (solo, friends', couple, honeymoon) can be either self-planned or through these companies. For a person like me who is in corporate job and doesn't like spending time on planning .. this option works. And in my opinion, there is not much difference in cost also. And if there is, u will save time which will compensate it. For the job-going people, finishing pre-planned hassle-free trip in fixed 4/5 days trip, is more important rather than spending extra 1-2K. And also if u forget something/or gets injured or something, they will take care as u are going with a fixed group for fixed time period.

Not aware of that but I will advice u to reach by ur own flight/train. Coz booking agent (travel company) will charge more than actual fare.

Usually u get a shared oom with same gender as yours. In case, you still want to be in separate room, u can inform them while booking (they may aagree with some additional charges. Depends on company to company and on occupancy.)

@@ToTravelTolife I did the same trek and it was fun. Actually they are just the platforms, they assign the trek to local companies which then takes care of anything. Out trek was assigned to TreksUp India, which did their job pretty well. And in my opinion, on such treks, no company can provide perfect trip. Not easy to satisfy everyone I guess.

Video was made by my personal experience of thrillophilia (4 solo trips done) and rest websites/pages were noted by friend's suggestion/internet. When I made this video, I had book with them (Itourbeat)... but later, due to state quarantine guidelines, trip was cancelled. And they didn't even gave back my booking amount (Rs 2000 appx). Later blocked my insta after I complained. Try to avoid, and i will see if i can remove their name from this video.
