I had to stop taking it. I wouldn't sleep for days. I would fall asleep, but would wake up frequently. My fitbit would say 2 hrs sleep. Then I would skip taking it and would get blinding headaches.

I took trulicity. GI effects were insane, but they are supposed to subside. After weightloss surgery, i took it again and there were no side effects at all. It definitely helped me reach my goals with weight and diabetes. For sure i didn't want to eat alot of foods. I couldn't stand rich and sugary foods. I just had to stop taking during pregnancy and while breast feeding because not enough data on the effects. When im done breastfeeding im going back on it.

Exactly all of those injection weight loss medication‘s so many people have G.I. problems it’s insane some people were paralyzed. Some people were just messed up for life and I’m sorry think about it. I know you’re ingesting the pills as well but like I said, phentermine and Topamax are like on the lower spectrum, but they’ve been around That Olympic and all that new stuff that’s been out I just can’t do it. I can’t inject myself with that stuff long-term and if you look at all these entertainers, they look sick Kim Kardashian all these people that you can tell that they went and got Ozempic. I recently lost 30 lb on Saxenda, which is victoza at a higher dose.. However, My gallbladder got severely infected and I developed thousands of gallstones very quickly. Could be just from weight loss but this is a side effect of the injectable diabetic medications. It can also affect the pancreas. My enzymes for both gallbladder and pancreas were very elevated. I had to get my gallbladder removed. I also developed two other weird issues that also needed immediate surgery. My doctor decided probably not a good choice for me. I am not a diabetic. I just started Qsymia. My insurance covered both, but it had to be pre-approved. In my situation, you have to be a certain BMI and have at least one other comorbidity such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc. I had both as a result of weight. Before menopause I weighed 140. I ballooned to 220. I have already lost 30, aiming for another 35.

Clare, concise & straightforward. My doctor prescribed Phentermine. I can not contact him directly but only through an online portal and through his nurse. I am not allowed any conversations or discussions with him. I’m in the U.S. In any case, I’m trying to find out more prior to taking it but will SEE Mt doctor in JUly for a checkup appt. & that will be a time for real discussion. I have a small aortic aneurysm & perhaps his nurse in the portal but perhaps it’s still okay. At 75 yrs everyone assumes people aren’t going to last long & treatment can be different. I wish Ozembic/Rybelsus/Wegovy were not so ridiculously expensive. I think $800-$1800 per month is a little on the ridiculous side. I don’t know how your bodies are made, but Phentermine does absolutely nothing to me as far as a side effect when I take phentermine I just know that I’ve taken it because it just basically cuts out my appetite of wanting to eat. My blood pressure doesn’t go up I do not have any High rate heartbeat I am never angry. It doesn’t change my mood and I’m on the highest milligram of Inter me 37.5 mg and my doctor just prescribed me Topamax 25 mg so I’m taking both and both are absolutely great so I guess I’m just blessed that I’m not having any complications like everybody else but I’ve taken Phentermine before in the past and I’ve never had a problem with it either.

Wow I'm glad I stumbled across your channel here. I have PCOS symptoms but attend a Veterans hospital as a veteran patient and they do not have comprehensive programs for women's health. Someone told me to go see a Endocrinologist for my hormonal and any possible thyroid issues. I wish you could be my doctor but I'm not a Florida resident. I'm in Virginia. @@SugarMDs Not easy but its scientific fact unfortunately. Perhaps if the medical associations stop pushing high carb diets as they do maybe people would be less obese. The higher the caloric intake of carbs in a diet throughout the years the higher the obesity rates at least in the USA. Now even the ADA is backing off the idea of high carb diets as they seen by their own research the metabolic damage done by carbs. Bottom line and you might agree with this high insulin levels = low insulin sensitive lipase that facilitate weight loss. Now carbs are the #1 thing that triggers an insulin response. It's safe to say that carbs are a driving factor for the steep obesity rates. I understand some people will not do it or follow the plan, however I feel its a responsible thing to at least give the information so patients can make an educated approach. :)

You are welcome to do your own research and learn for yourself, knowledge is free and you do not need a 100k+ degree to make a good decision. Now in regards to what I said, he as an endocrinologist must know that insulin is a tissue building hormone. If you eat carbs excess will turn into fat (triglycerides from blood glucose). Most doctors know this its called the hormone obesity theory. I urge you to read about it and make your own mind. Insulin inhibits hormone sensitive lipase that breaks down body fat. Carbohydrates really spike insulin levels, as a diabetic I urge to make the experiment for yourself eat 20g of carb, 20g of protein and 20g of fat and lets see what causes your BG to go higher hence needing a larger insulin dose. For me as a fully insulin dependent patient 20g will raise me +105 mg/dl carbs, +41 20g of protein, fat via olive oil about 9 mg/dl. You tell me... It might be true some people might live long eating carbohydrates, my point is that diabetics cannot properly handle them as they lack endogenous insulin, (phase 1 insulin response) analogs as Humalog and Novolog take too long to act and they tend to mimic (phase 2 response). Again the ADA details this in explict detail. Now few things are as inflammatory as elevated blood glucose even slightly elevated BG around 110 to 140 pre-diabetic range tends to cause extensive endothelial dysfunction and its the main cause of heart and vascular problems. Reason why 30% of T2D even with mildly elevated BG are diagnosed with early complications. At the end of the day it's your choice if you want to eat yourself to death and cause yourself painful complications by all means we are free to do as we what, however do not call it a "healthy" nor viable medical option. If you are a diabetic I honestly wish you the best of luck, and try to do your research. Trust me having a HbA1c of 4.6% with BG in the 80s by not eating carbs its worth it you feel as a healthy person would!

My insurance quit covering ozempic, but will cover victoza. You may want to ask your doctor.
