We are planning a trip to LA, definitely will spend a day or two in Universal Studios. Would you recommend a hotel with decent price near that area?

You will have a GREAT time at Universal Studios! To be completely honest, the hotels we've reviewed have been OK for the price. We've realized that we had to compromise quality if we wanted to pay a decent price. We're still hunting for our ideal hotel near Universal. This particular hotel was not bad! The area is a bit rough, but the experience was not bad. Wishing you a great trip!

Sounds like the hotel is more like a trucker stop hotel. The price maybe justified for the location but nothing more. At least you guys tried it.

We do consider it family friendly. It’s just the area that it’s located in and the quality of the service. We’ve struggled to find a reasonable hotel near Universal. We’ve been able to find excellent options for Disneyland. The search continues. 😓😓 Thanks for watching! 💜💙

Wanna check out a sub $200/night gem. Hit the Viv. They have a rooftop pool and bar that overlook both parks.

@@gioandgrace The roof top pool is adults only, but there is also a very nice pool downstairs for the kiddos.
