SERVICE & CHECKIN -- 👍 ok Free early checkin & uncovered parking is available. Tap payment also works here. Checkin was a bit slow (manual paperwork) but the representative was exceptional; warm, polite, & very personable. It's strange to waste this much paper for 1 initial & 1 signature, even when not parking a vehicle. Free 1hr late checkout by request. Phone service wasn't the friendliest & they were slow to service requests (still waiting on those towels...). LOBBY, ELEVATOR, CORRIDORS -- 👍 great Unique & large multi-function lobby. Very clean with an elevated look & good transitions. Lower # rooms will be a bit of a walk from the front desk, luckily the corridors are clean & wide. The stock is well-chosen & not hollow or cheap like competing hotels for this niche. Great lighting, high quality ergonomics, & exceptionally clean. Cons: AC wasn't the most performant or quiet; walls are very thin; & too few waste receptacles for a suite of this size. BED -- 👍 great Heavenly mattress & pillows. Their sheets were average but they did the job (breathable, clean, soft-enough). BATH -- 👍 great Spotless & obnoxiously luxurious. The shower was nice but the whirlpool tub stole the show! A different brand or shower gel would be a better fit here. Bring your own beauty brand bath supplies to maximize the tub experience. TV & ENTERTAINMENT -- 👍 good 2 Mounted 50" Samsung HD TVs on poorly chosen fixed mounts. It's not easy to connect HDMI devices on this installation & it's a "miss" in the common area due to the abundant + dynamic seating options. But picture quality & programming selection were great. WI-FI & CELL RECEPTION -- 👍 good Blown away by how fast the WiFi is here. It's perfect for every use case. Conversely, it's a dead zone for Verizon cell service inside the unit. --Performance-- Video streaming - GREAT Online gaming - GREAT Video chatting - GREAT --Nerd Stats-- 230-468 Mbps download 263-400 Mbps upload 0% packet loss 8 ms latency 4 ms jitter FOOD & DRINK -- 👍 great DoorDash friendly location situated between multiple eateries! There's a lot of options directly on prem too including a cocktail lounge, restaurant, & full breakfast in the mornings. Prefer to cook? No problem! The kitchenette is generously stocked & functional enough to compete with the chef's onsite... Tl;dr Staying nourished with multiple food allergies wasn't a problem here! NOISE -- bad 👎 Painfully thin walls. Noise from the parking lot area can be intrusive depending on the crowd. Housekeeping is unavoidably noisy when rooms are being turned over. Book a high floor or bring noise cancelling headphones if you're noise-sensitive. LOCATION -- 👍 great Lots of convenience & good proximity for trips to Garden of the Gods VERDICT Price: $278.15/night Was it worth it: yes Best part: spa tub My first of many Executive Residency stays. I would absolutely return to this location despite the acoustics. It has plenty to offer & IMO is the best hotel in the area. Highly recommend. 5/5 ⭐
