I have govee, thermopro and sensorpush, but often have trouble. I love inkbird's IBS-TH5, which is cute, smart and accurate, with ink screens and weather displays. A little more expensive but very reassuring!

I haven't had any trouble with my govee, but thanks for sharing your experience with the inkbird.

Hello. * Do you still highly recommend these thermometers, or not? * Did they hold up well in very cold environment like a freezer? * Do they give very accurate and stable readings, or all over the place? * How long does a battery last on average? * Has a battery ever damaged/blown up (due to extreme temperature fluctuations)? (FYI, imo lithium batteries should do very well, because they last a LONG time compared to alkaline.) I would really appreciate answers to all of my questions. Thank you sir.

Yes, I do still recommend these sensors. In regard to the temp readings, they are very accurate. These newer freezers constantly fluctuate temperate, and these sensors respond within seconds. You do have to replace the batteries every few months as the cold definitely reduces the life. I haven't tried any lithium batteries but it's probably worth a shot. I have used Energizer batteries and have never had any blow up in the last year. Hope this helps.

Great video, thanks. What kind of batteries do the sensors take?

Glad you liked it! These sensors require a single AAA battery.

Can you access remotely? I purchased another wifi temp/humidity sensor and you had to be able to access the same wifi network locally to use? Can I install at my home and check temps while I am on the road?

Yes, you can monitor remotely as long as it is connected via wifi. There is a little bit of a delay when viewing over wifi (only a few minutes) vs connected via bluetooth which updates every few seconds.
