I've had the jabra elite active 75t since end of 2019 and have had them replaced by their customer support twice already, both times because of the same issue. After less than a year, each time the left earbud started to lose volume, making them unusable. I like the sound, love the fit but the fear of the same issue happening again overshadows it all

yea ive just been getting sennheisers. i’ve never had any problems with them and i’ve owned multiple pairs of there earbuds. definitely worth it. i had many problems with jabra and jaybird.
@Blaccus2 жыл бұрын
Same problem with the Jabras. I'm on my 4th replacement 🙄. Fun while they last but within two months one earbud stops working. You shouldn't fly with them, the seal is said to be "too good" and the atmosphere pressure difference makes them unusable. So watch out.
@holyghostpower9382 жыл бұрын
Same issue
@Nukebotir2 жыл бұрын
Had this issue too with my 75t. Apparently a common issue. Turns out the solution is is to carefully poke and gently scratch the very tiny hole on the earbud with low volume-issues, with something pointy. The tiny hole is next to the charging pins in the buds. Kinda weird solution but it works. Other than that the buds are great.

I'm super happy to see how Buds+ still going strong even with abundant of new players in the lower end segment. It really is one hell of a package for the record low price atm. Such a heaven match made for Galaxy phone too. Unfortunately I just lost mine recently, still miss them a lot 🤧 I love the pair so much and I highly recommend to anyone considering to purchase one 👍🏼

Lucky for you, Samsung drops prices like crazy this time of year. Do you think you'll be buying another pair of buds+ or are you considering upgrading to the 2/pro models?
@obidean39643 жыл бұрын
@@MikeOBrienMedia Oh I'm actually looking forward on Buds 2 for my next replacement. As much as I love the Buds+, I was thinking to change to something different and Buds 2 seems a solid upgrade from my good ol Buds+, not to mention the price is the closest to the Buds+ so it's quite tempting for me. I've tried the pairs in store and I'm pretty impressed too especially the fit, comfort, sound quality and ANC also surprisingly decent. Although I miss the wingtips but it's no deal breaker. And yes I'm actually patiently waiting for great discount on Buds 2 because knowing Samsung, it will sure happen anytime soon 😂 I'm also considering Pro as well but the earbuds seems too bulbous and I can see how it will not fit in my ear for long time and not to mention the price also is way above from my budget. Also I'm not sure if it's just me but I noticed that the Pro case feels hollow and cheap, the hinge also creaking compared to Buds 2, not sure why but I noticed on all display units in showrooms. So yea the Pro quickly out from my watchlist. Btw, appreciate your swift reply man 🙌🏼
@gingram23 жыл бұрын
I've gone through so many pairs of earbuds it's not even funny. I ALWAYS keep my Galaxy Buds+ on me though. The fit is perfect for my small ears. The transparency mode is fantastic and you can actually use it in mono mode unlike my more expensive earbuds. The call quality is still tops. The only things that could make them better are adding ANC but the fit is so good that the passive noise cancelation is good enough for me. & more bass. If they had the same amount of bass as the jbl reflect mini NC's I'd never use any other pair bc they'd be perfect.

There are a lot of better buds out there now than the buds plus. But I still think they strike a good balance. Still have mines but I find them to be lacking in volume for some tracks along with overall sound quality but I guess that can chalk up to having used a lot of other buds like sennheiser, earfun, both budget and well known brands that sound much better. I had a look at a bunch of your videos but couldn't find any mentions of JBL which is the most popular brand where I live (almost every store has lots of their stuff in the audio department). I would love to know your thoughts on the JBL Tune 115TWS for example or the JBL Tune 225TWS if that's possible. Good? Bad? If so, why. They're between 40-50€ here. The cheapest possible ones like Philips models are 20-30€. And the prices range to 80-100€ and above, naturally. The Jabra Elite 3 was praised but that's 80€ which is twice as much as the JBL Tune 115TWS so it's not an insignifcant price difference, but there are very few reviews of JBL earbuds online. I don't know why exactly (if it's poor availability or poor quality or something. At least their portable speakers and ANC headphones were incredibly good if you ask me).
@Chertograad2 жыл бұрын
Other brands that are readily available include: Urbanista, Happy Plugs, TaoTronics, OnePlus, WestendXFi, Nokia, Honor, Soundpeats (not beats), Apple (way above my budget since they're 200-250€ which is getting close to smartphone prices for me), Philips, JLAB, Motorola, Supra... But it seems like most stores have JBL stocked so that's why I'm asking.

Imo if you're considering for Buds Pro, I highly suggest you wait since it's almost 1 whole year anniversary on the Buds Pro (launched early this year alongside S21). Great video, Mike. Jabra 75t are still one of my favourite. Under 100 € I have the JVC HA50T, I got them for 85€ and my god, what a great ANC!! I also have something called BackBay, earbuds tuned in Boston, American design, costed me 50€ and they sound amazing, and so loud, and are independent. I strongly recommend you. And I also love the Cambridge Melomania, wich are in the edge of 100€. Regards from Spain!!!

I was torn between Sennheiser CX and Sony C500 and i was leaning towards the CX. Just checked Amazon and the XM3s are on sale at 99 euros (CX is 83 euros). Are the XM3s better overall? I mostly care about sound quality and decent mic but I don't know a lot about earbuds tech and I keep hearing people talk about codecs and stuff. Also, people are saying the XM3s have high latency and are not synchronized between left and right?? Plz help hahaha

What's your opinion on the Audio Technica ATH-SQ1TW and why didn't you include them in this review? They look better and are priced better than the Sennheiser CX True Wireless, and have better features, and I for one would like to see/hear someone compare them for audio quality, passive isolation, etc. Any reason why you didn't?

What's your recommendation on the best sounding under 100 WITH wireless charging case? Tried the soundcore liberty air 2 cause everyone seemed to love em and found the highs to be too harsh for me.

well so many options on bottom ranks... Soundpeats T2, Soundcore Life P3, redmibuds 3 pro, Moondrop Sparks, Jabra Elite 2, LG Tone Free FN6, FIIL T1 pro, Soundpeats H1 etc... just take your pick 😊

75T were indeed good. However I had to return mine. The left or right ear bud, depending on the day, either wouldn't charge or just wouldn't play sound. I never could fix it. I saw posts where people said that you have to charge the case leaving the case open for 24 hours with the buds in it to fixe the dead ear bud problem. And it did... for a week. Then it was the other bud's turn to fail. After 4 months of that I just returned them to Costco.

I have the Soundcore P2 life, they have fantastic sound. The only thing I miss is that cheaper earbuds doesn't have the sensor to detect they are in your ear, so they pause/play when you take them on/off your ear.

@@13thdivision70 6 months. I decided to never buy 100+$ earbuds again after one of my galaxy buds plus started to drain faster than the other (one was at -15% and the other was at 60%)

@@Jose04537 could u describe if the bass and battery life is good? From a consumer perspective?
@Jose045372 жыл бұрын
@@ABFliptoe46 Battery 6-7 hours, bass? Above average. It's not comparable to Sony's sony earbuds wf-1000xm4, but the quality-price relationship is fantastic.

I have the same pair as yours and my experience has been fantastic... Excellent sound quality and superb battery life... But the call quality is inconsistent... If only they have multi-point feature (the feature to connect to more than one device at a time)

Being a person who used the original Galaxy Watch I really loved it. The best looking smartwatch in my opinion. I would really love to buy a second hand one now since I had to sell of my first one, so my question is that will it be worth buying the Galaxy watch in this time and age when there has been so many different upgraded models? My main usage would simply be receiving notification alerts, sending texts, and controlling my phone music with the added feature of having songs loaded in my built in storage of the watch. Would an old model like the original Galaxy watch be able to serve my purpose??? Mainly asking because I don't want to face any possible lag in my UI.

I bought a used Galaxy watch (original) in July and it's been working great for all those things. I pretty much got it for the exact same reasons and they all work perfectly. I get 2 days battery with light usage (not playing music from it or tracking a workout, but getting notifications, controlling my phones music, step and heart rate tracking). I get one day easy with heavy usage (working out for 2 hours in that time while listening to music with bt earbuds from the watch and tracking my workout). I also keep the always on display on all the time. Listening to music from the watch with earbuds drain about 10% per hour, so thats by far the biggest battery eater I've found. My watch uses about 3% battery per hour, and about 6% overnight with sleep tracking (in Goodnight Mode for around 7 hours). I have the larger 46mm. I would definitely still recommend it today, and I think it's set to still get at least 2 more years of updates from Samsung.
