There have been so many times that I come to your videos to get your input on a book before I decide whether to try it or not. You have not led me astray yet! So glad to be able to watch the longer format videos! I could literally talk about books all day every day, and I usually get the weird looks and eye rolls from the ones that just don’t get it, but being able to listen to you talk “all things book” makes my book heart happy!

I DNF Powerless so I agree with that one. I agree with the things you say about Skyshade but I love Grim so much that I saw past the hot mess 😂. I am starting my Zodiac Academy journey and I devoured the first 3 books 😊

2024 was my year of getting back into reading for fun as an adult. I was initially taking a lot of recommendations off of booktok…. which led me to read Credence without knowing much besides it being a popular romance book. I wish I could erase that entire experience from my brain. So many brain cells were lost 😭 so that’s easily my worst of the year lol. I really enjoyed Quicksilver, Phantasma, and House of Earth and Blood as some of my top reads. Anathema is now on my TBR list!

worst: Court of the vampire queen. Can’t believe i even finished it tbh 😂 Fav: Deliciously dark fairytales series by KF Breene. 👌🏻 excellent banter, great spice, shifters of all types, great plot, feisty FMC

My favorites of the year were definitely Anathema and One Dark Window/Two Twisted Crowns. Least favorite would be Reckless - I did a tandem read with Powerless and Powerful and enjoyed reading those together.

One dark window and the acotar series. Loved them. My least favorite this year would be the poppy wars series. I enjoyed the first book, but it went down hill in book 2 for me and book 3 was, oke. I liked the story though, i just had a big issue with Rin...😅🙈

I have startes reading again in December after years of not reading for years. My favorites were Metal Slinger and Anathema and my least favorite is the Cerulean sister (not finished yet but I skip pages just to finally be done with it)

Rain of shadows and endings was so good! Loving the series so far, just finished 3rd tempest of wrath and vengeance. Also started Lady darkness series- world adjacent and so good too almost wish I started there to understand magic system/gods talked about

Binding 13 is absolutely WONDERFUL. While I do believe Johnny is 100% her hero…. HIS PARENTS. ESPECIALLY HIS MOM OH MY GOSH. We don’t talk about her enough

My most favs differ as per genre. But absolute favs are mindf*ck series and empire of storms (all of tog but this specifically) And i agree with the powerless review. It had me pissed. But read powerful! Absolutely loved that book! And feel that should have been the main story. It was original and gut wrenching

Least favorite is probably Court of Tricksters. I read the first two of the series, and it was a good time while I read them but I wasn’t wowed! Favorite hands down has to be the Kindreds Curse Saga, I can’t wait Burn of the Everflame!

I actually really like Agatha Christie - best murder mysteries - atleast I have never been able to guess who did the murder! I love the Hercule Poirot mysteries!

@thtgrlreads so I have read maybe 5 books from her - and I usually just like the ones where Hercule Poirot is the detective! Maybe you could try one book - her top rated one is The Murder of Roger Ackroyd! I really like it! Knowing how manyyy books you have read, you might be able to guess the plot but it's worth a shot! It's a short read! I really like the writing - it's a quick, murder mystery book! ✨

Hated if he had been with me. So many people were crying over it and saying how good it was and I was so bored. They did nothing. There was no banter. Didn’t feel anything between the characters and then It gave a horrible rushed ending. I loved Acomaf or Acosf I literally can’t choose lol

my least fav was normal people basically hate read because i bought physical book years ago and trying to reduce tbr shelf of shame. fav was probably mother of no dawn or entire war of last hearts series lol

Favorite: Nocticadia 🖤 thanks to your recommendation Worst: between Bewitched 🥲 which I outright disliked OR Iron Flame which got worse the longer I thought about it 🙂‍↔️ (Jamie, after Onyx Storm comes out, can you do a long form video breakdown of your thoughts on the whole series?)
